Pictures of new BCV rooms

thanks for pics. It looks nice. Talk about going back to the age of black and white. No color whatsoever

Thanks for posting! I wouldn't have seen them there! We are staying in April - I hope I can get a renovated room!!

April for us too hoping for a new room for the extra bed!!!! requested a higher floor studio to help our odds

I thought it looks nice, muted colors but blue often looks that way in those shades. It looks elegant versus a beach them to me. The appliances looked nice. The bathroom vanity looked great--lots of cubby holes :thumbsup2 which will come in handy for guests.

I for one really like this look. Is it "beachy?" Depends on which beach. I think it's more of a northwoods lake beach house look than an ocean front beach cottage. We'll be there in August, hopefully most of the rooms will be done by then.

Rooms look lovely, I keep thinking about buying into dvc and love BC but we're trying OKW this summer as we're a family of 5 and we can all fit in a 1bed. Does anyone know if after the refurb will the BCV 1 bed apartments still only sleep 4?

I'm just psyched everything will be clean(er) and new(ish) when we are there in October.

Except it's supposed to be Cape May, NJ, on the Atlantic Ocean, not in the northwoods on a lake.

Unfortunately, no. The studio will sleep five with the murphy bed, but the one bedroom will still just have one king bed in the master bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

love the new bathrooms and all the stainless steel in the kitchen !!!!:thanks:

Fresh and new yes, BC, no. This room could be in Dallas, not the theming that I expect and appreciate at Disney. :sad2:

:earsboy: Bill
Exactly!

This has been the recent movement at DIS. Total abandonment of keeping the theme in the room. All generic.

When I took the DGF for her first visit back in 2012, I told her how much she was going to love the architecture, how the resorts all captured their theme so well. How you could easily just spend a day resort hopping.

It is kind of sad that this is the trend.

Wait until the rooms at the wilderness lodge look the same as those at the contemporary.....because that just makes all the sense in the world.

I think that room actually is in Dallas.

Doesn't it just scream "I'm at the Beach"? No.
Doesn't even scream "I'm at Disney World". :sad2: Not even a Disney themed throw pillow that we've seen in other resorts.

Still, by all accounts, BCV was in big need of a refurb.
