Pictures of kids who love the characters.

This series of pics are my fave of my daughter Annie - she was feeling a little self consious meeting Cinderella and the step-sisters - she's shy and she was worried cause she didn't think princesses should wear glasses. So everyone kind of blew by her - they were nice, just not too interactive - Prince Charming, Cinderella, the step-mother and Anastasia. Then came Drizella - She was AMAZING. I think she could see my daughter was a little shy etc. Annie took to her and they talked for a good 5 minutes. She came back to see her after that one more time and they danced while the rest of the kids wanted to dance with Cinderella and Prince Charming.

And another series of pics so as not to leave my son out! :rotfl:
This was our first character meet and greet of our first visit to WDW. It was AWESOME! We were first in line for Chip and Dale after their break and they were in a playful mood.
Chip came out first while Dale was still "gathering acorns" So when Dale started coming out of the back area, Chip grabbed my son to run and meet him.

Then they all danced for a bit

Dale sure was in a funny mood this day - this one may or may not belong on the "bad character poses" thread :rotfl2:

That story and the photos are PRICELESS! Tell her to be proud of her glasses; oldest DGD wears glasses also and she loves them! (Except when she's trying to play basketball or soccer!!!) :lmao:. Precious photos...and tell your daughter I think she's a beautiful princess! :tink:

This thread is a good answer to the question "why do you go to Disney so much?"...and, to those naysayers who say "why do you take such young kids to Disney, they aren't going to remember it!". Makes my heart smile.

If only Disney would give us a beautiful princess who wears glasses!!! Your post touched my heart as DD has worn glasses since she was 2 (she's 5 now), and still occasionally gets upset about wearing them because "Princesses don't wear glasses". I can't remember which Princess it was (we see so many as she loves characters), but one of them told her on our last trip that they loved her glasses (I'm guessing a Princess that probably wore them as a child and knows) and it really made her happy.

My daughter who I dragged all the way to Epcot and waited for about 45-hour just to see the beast

This was taken at Disneyland and my DS who was about 12-13 months old at the time was giving Pluto a big kiss. He screamed when we had to leave him! He wanted to keep giving him kisses and hugs.

I know this thread is meant to be for pics of kiddos , but I hate having my photo taken and am happy to share these 2 with you....it's what Disney is all about.

This is one of my favourites. My son was 8 when we went in September. The first first two days we were they he was very reserved with the characters. You can see in the pictures, he wouldn't get close, he just felt awkward. I think he felt like he was too "old" to be excited. However at our dinner at Chef Mickey's it's like he realized "who cares??" and he gave Pluto the biggest hug. I finally felt like he got what Disney was all about right there at that moment

OMG! What a great shot and a great story! You made me cry! I love this thread...what a great idea!

Well, since WDW is all about being a kid at heart - we'll allow it! :)

You're right. This is what makes Disney special and no other theme park even comes close!

Suemom2kay - you are so right about that!!! Nothing comes any way close.

Aww, I love all of these pictures! Here is mine - my DS was 12 months at the time - the pics really don't do it justice, we had so many sweet moments with the characters... I'll never forget that trip. We go back in two months - he'll be 20 months old!

I don't usually go through ALL the pages of a thread, but this one is tops - I looked through everyone. I can't wait to get to the magic in a little over 70 days!!!! I can't wait to take pictures of my husband's grandkids and their character encounters. I'll try to post back here when I get some. Keep it going!!!!
