I saw the link on the board but there doesn't seem to be too many pictures from SSR and thought I'd just ask.

I'm interested in seeing pictures of a one-bedroom (Handicapped accessible) at SSR; if anyone has any - please share.

DH & I have stayed in a one-bedroom at SSR in the past, but this will be our first in a handicap one. DH is an above the knee amputee. Locations & room #s would be great - if able to provide; but am interested in seeing pics to get an idea of what to expect.

Thanks much!!

I have pictures, but can't post links right now from work.

I will do it when home tonight.

As far as location , they are scattered throughout the resort.

Here are the pictures. This was a room where the bedroom was to the right of the entry and the kitchen to the left side of the entry area. Yours may be like this, or a mirror image of it (so, the bedroom to the left and the kitchen to the right).
There is also a laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer just outside the bathroom, but I don’t have any pictures of that.

SSR 1 bedroom entry hall. The eating area is straight ahead, the kitchen is across from the eating area and the living room is beyond the eating area. The bathroom and bedroom are thru the doorway on the right of the photo. What looks like a window above the bench is actually a set of mirrors.

Living room - the edge of the kitchen counter is on the bottom left of the picture. The door near the top left goes to the studio part (this was a lock off unit).

Bathroom - roll in shower is to the right of the picture. Other part of bathroom with spa tub and closet is to the left of the picture.

Sue - thank you so much for sharing the pictures. Did the room have a balcony or was it on the first level? I'm hoping we won't be on the first level. :)

Thank you so much for the pictures - it gives me an idea of what to anticipate.

That room was on ground floor and had a patio. We have stayed at SSR about 4 times in roll in shower rooms ( our home resort is OKW).
We have been in different locations each time, but were always on ground floor. I don't know if all the roll in shower rooms are first floor, but the buildings do all have elevators.

Thanks, Sue, the pictures really help a lot. We're thinking of adding a few nights at SSR after the January members cruise and I was wondering about the layout, and if the rooms with the roll in showers still have the spa tubs. That answered my question beautifully! :goodvibes

You're welcome.
Hope you have a great time.

All the one and 2 bedroom fully accessible villas (and Grand Villas) have the whirlpool tub as well as a roll in shower, in case anyone is interested.
