I have noticed that alot of these pictures are when people have early morning ADR's at CRT. When you book that, they let you into the park nice and early and that allows for some nice picture opportunities.

At EMH, even though it is supposed to be empty, it still is moderately occupied. The best chance to get empty park pictures during EMH is at the VERY end. :thumbsup2

I love all the pictures posted.

However, I must admit, I love visiting during regular, peak and summer value season.

For me, crowds are part of the fun. I don't mean we enjoy waiting in line. We refuse to wait longer than 20 minutes for any show or ride.

The busy chatter adds to the fun.

Standing in line at the resort waiting for the bus to arrive. Of course this is the point when my son decides he needs to run back in for one more mug refill.:upsidedow As soon as he enters the building, our bus pulls into the resort.

Listening to everyone on the bus discuss their plans for the day. What rides to hit first, where we're dining, which characters we're hoping to see... :dance3:

The excitement that is in the crowd while you're waiting for the gates to open or for the rope to drop.

The laughs as you all rush (walking not running:rotfl2: ) to TOT, RNR, Splash Mountain, Test Track, Safari...

I just love the happy energy that fills the air during our visits.

8:19am
filtering in for the preshow- I thought we would need to get there really early b/c it would be crowded- not the case!

8:52am Not really empty BUT
I don't think this crowd was bad AT ALL for the show- everyone was gathered towards the middle to see but there was plenty of room for everyone.

Not a picture to add, but I wish your pictures said what time of year it was when they were taken.

I am wondering when the best time to go would be -- best chance for empty parks, and great weather (not too hot or too rainy). ??:confused3

I DO have the dates on my pics!- well not right on the pics- but I do note the date in my post:lmao:

I said a few pages back that the best time to go would be RIGHT after Labor Day- it will be hot, but the crowds will be low.:cool1:

Great!!!

This was 11/16 (my son's b-day and the Thursday before Thanksgiving). It was rainy in the morning, and this is right after they opened the gates (see the huge masses of people making their way up Main St.?)

Nice!

I wish I could go during "off-season" and have the parks all to myself!! The only times I've been to WDW was March and July, and an upcoming July/August trip! Now, I LOVE the heat and dont mind the crowds, but it would be awsome to not have to wait in the standby line for an hour and a half because the fastpasses were all out (you see, we arent morning people, and cant wake up early and gt to park opening,, hah! go figure!)

Here's a very empty Germany Pavilion at Epcot. The park was so dead this day that we managed to do everything like two or more times without waiting. It was great:

Just stopping in to say I LOVE this thread. I've saved a bunch of these pictures to use as my desktop wallpaper. I've gotten a ton of compliments at work!
