Pictures of all 3 Disneyland Hotel Concierge Lounges

what exactly is concierge? What type of rooms do you get and what does it all include? Do you think it's worth the money?

Rooms are basically the same. However, we stayed in one of the new concierge rooms. I loved it! The view was fabulous and everything was brand new.

The difference is when you drive up you are greeting by a concierge staff member who welcomes you and escorts you in and up to the concierge level. You do not need to wait in the main line.
Once at the concierge desk they check you in and they can make dining reservations for you and you can buy tickets, etc. You will receive your card key which will have access to the Craftsmen's Lounge whether your room is ready or not.

The Craftsmen's Lounge is the best thing. In the morning, cereals, fresh cut fruit, coffee, tea, different kinds of muffins, bagels, oatmeal, OJ, Cranberry, Milk, and Croissants.

Small bottles of Dansai water, soda and cartons of juice are always available. Coffee, tea is always available too. They has a wonderful hot cider at Christmas time which we absolutely loved!

11:00AM-4:00PM tea sandwiches( like in the previous picture) cold salmon, turkey and cream cheese sandwiches, fresh fruit, cookies, chocolate strawberries

5:00-7:00PM the lovely scones, a hot dish, free wine and beer are served, Boudin's french bread, crackers, assorted cheeses, grapes, fruit, and cold veggies
8:00-10:00PM Dessert assorted small desserts, cookies, milk, etc. cordials served

This is all I can remember off the top of my head.
Here is our view!

Depends on how you define free I guess. ;)

Just to give you a general idea...
Rack rates for 2 adults, 2 nights at the Grand Californian next week:

Standard View $462

DD View $546
Theme Park View $578
Resort/Pool View $578

Concierge Standard View $806
Concierge Theme Park View $898

Of course rates vary based on season, capacity, etc. and it may not always cost almost twice as much to stay concierge view as to stay in a standard room, but concierge will always cost more.

For some folks it's concierge or nothing, others may only splurge occasionally or even just once, and some will never pay the extra cost for concierge.

We stayed Concierge at PP last fall and it was a first for us. At the time, a view room was $159 and Conc was $179 (AP rates). It was a no brainer for me that we would get $20 worth of food/bevs per day. And we sure did. We had a cabana room and while we did not use the pool, it would be a perfect room if you did. Plus, one night we watched the fireworks from the viewing area past the pool and afterwards it was quite sweet to walk into our room (same floor) while 8,000 people waited for the elevators or hoofed the stairs.;) The free expanded continental breakfast made it worth it alone and the evening offferings were a bonus. The CM's there are so helpful and sweet, too. We also stayed Concierge at the Grand shortly thereafter and it is DEFINITELY a few notches above PP. A dear friend paid for that room, so I don't know the price difference. Price it out and honestly weigh the cost of the perks and see if it is worth it to you. And don't forget to factor in the "convenience" and "time" you save by going concierge. Plus it makes you feel pretty darn special.:goodvibes Good luck deciding.:)

Another thing that I didn't see mentioned was that at night the GCH lounge had entertainment for the kids. While I was there one night they had story time and another night they had some guy singing kids songs. The kids LOVED it! Oh, and you can take food out of the lounge with you. I was pregnant when I went so dh would bring me all kinds of goodies to the room. The strawberries were just amazing!

Hi, I am resurrecting this thread to ask a couple questions... Does anyone know the times of each "meal" at PPH concierge?? Specifically, when do they set out the evening appetizer stuff? Cause I think I saw breakfast is at least at 6:30.

Also, I saw a pic with sodas, what do they have for kids? Like milk or juice maybe? And do they have bottled water?

TIA!

breakfast is between 6:30 and 10 ish( I think 10:30) then after that they serve the snacks until 6:00 pm. The appetizers is usually from 5-7 if my memory serves me correctly. and then from 8-10 is desserts. Have fun!
I think the begining of the post describes the offerings if you look at each hotel description, but apple juice boxes, milk and bottle water are avail.
Sprite, coke, are avail all day. OJ and cran berry juices are offerered during the morning.

I wish I could justify paying the conceirge fee, but I prefer to be spending all of my time in the parks. However, that food really looks yummy.

Does anyone have any pictures of the theme park room view rooms at the PP, and also the turn down service. Thank You.:goodvibes

I don't know about the price difference because we used DVC points but we certainly enjoyed it and would use it again.
I know a couple of you have mentioned using the DVC points for concierge. Did you know they changed that and you can't book with DVC points at that level anymore? I am severely bummed. We got a ressie @ Paradise Pier just in time. We will be there in June for our annual Father's Day trip.
Thank you for all the pics! We have done the Grand but not PP. I am feeling more excited now.

yes this really ticked me off... no more concierge. I understand them taking away the GRAND but not concierge at the otehr 2 hotels.. so yes i was very very bummed. glad i got to experience all 3 lol. Not sure i'd pay cash for the feature.

How did you like the breakfast offerings @ GCH? I think you said you like the ones better at PPH?

The breakfast offerings are pretty much the same with small differences( mainly quantity and fruit choices, a few different breads) between the 3. I did mention that i liked the PPH afternoon offering better for kids.... There choices are more kid friendly. Calzones, taquitos, finger foor type items that I think i listed previously..

My camera is not the best for night time fireworks shots but these were taken from the concierge balcony at the GCH, the music is wonderful also...

HTH!

I have a question about the "exclusive elevator access" to the DLH's Concierge Lounge... What I've heard is that the elevator is going away (currently blocked off from use)...
Never having been up there before, my question is, how do you get to the Lounge now then? Do you have to wait for regular elevator access? (Which most likely are slow during the best of times.)
Would it be *much* more convenient to request a room on the same floor as the Lounge (11th I believe) or does it really matter?
Thanks SO much!!

wow i wish i could aford that. but 500 for kids suit at hojos I can take 300 if i want an spend it on those foods tho dang they look sooo good.

i got to go get choco now

Thanks Pycee312 for all the fantastic information. This thread is great and the only information I could find on concierge.

We will be concierge at the Disneyland Hotel. Has anyone stayed recently? Are the rooms in this building rennovated? Does anyone know if they start breakfast earlier in the summer since there is magic morning every day? A couple of posts ago (but several months) there is questions on the dedicated elevator. Does anyone know if it is operational?

I can not believe our trip is so close!!!! The view from the lounge looks positively fantastic.:yay::yay::yay:

Oh - so many questions!!! Any help or pictures would be great.
