Pictures, Dasani, and...More pictures!! *Complete!*

YAY!!!! You DID ride it again!! :cool1:

That was so funny about that guy telling your DH that SM wasn't scary. :rotfl2: And you with the "spider". :lmao: Things like that are always happening to me. I think it's a bug and scream and then find out it's a leaf, or some lent, or a ball of thread!! :rotfl2:

:scared1: I can't believe that lady ate the icecream anyway!!!:scared1:

I am exactly that way. Never ever ever ever ever...EVER :scared: I don't even know how you fly in an airplane :rotfl: I won't even do that!

I am getting better at that and I actually enjoy it more and more. You should really try it. Just a short trip. it makes traveling so much easier.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: This conversation seems familiar!

Scott told me the same thing and I still haven't tried it. I'm skeered!!

Great update.:thumbsup2 good for you riding EE again. Sound slike you had a really packed day, so glad you got to go on Peter Pans flight, it is one of our favourites too.

Look forward to hearing more.

We also have to do the TTA everytime we are there. I think for me it is more of the memories I have on that ride.
I agree that would have to be weird to see the boats running on a dry track.
Another Great Update :thumbsup2

Enjoyed your update. (How do you eat so much food and stay so slim?)
Why is it again that riding in the back seat of EE is not a good idea?
And did you ever find out why they were running Splah Mt. dry?

Well, I had read in a Disney book that the blue lights you go through before take off does something with your eyes that makes the ride seem darker than it really is. So Darren put his hands over his eyes at this part to see if it were true

Just wondering if it WAS true?

about your question about bus transportation from MK to AK...i believe there is a bus. I am not 100% sure what I remember but I think DH and I took a bus from MK to AK one day...if not then we went to the TTC then took a bus...can't remember 100% and the sad thing it was only 6 mos ago that we were there.

My dad loves to fly. He's actually training for his pilots license now. I get worried every time he goes to fly. He begs me to go with him but I'm like nooooooo thank you. The day pigs fly, I'll be right up there with them ;)
It's soooo tempting though, because he got to Destin, Florida in 45 minutes! 4 1/2 drive from here.

Great trip report!
Contemporary is gorgeous since they renovated. We love it. EE is an awesome ride. I am :sad2: your trip report is almost over.

Thank you. I'm sad too! :(

Yep, I did ride again! I'm always scared of stuff like that. You just never know when it might be a huge spider!!

We ride TTA a number of times. It's just a nice ride. I always say I wish it would go around the whole park, that would be awesome.
Thanks for reading! :thumbsup2

And did you ever find out why they were running Splah Mt. dry?

Thank you. I don't know, but I'm trying to gain weight! It looks like I eat alot, but I really get full after a couple of bites. I don't know why :confused3

EE in the back car is ALOT faster than the middle or front. It's like that on every coaster...The drops are faster, you have the momentum off all the weight in front and it just pulls you really quick. So if you want a faster ride, as for the back..If not, don't sit near the back! :scared:

I think they were running Splash dry to just test things out. The ride was down for refurb and I guess they were testing the boats to make sure everything was working ok.

then the 2 of you should both do it.

I'd need some serious margaritas before that could happen! :drinking:

Just wondering if it WAS true?

I think he said it wasn't true lol. But good question! I was too busy laughing to ask.

Conversation is familiar to me also. I started a whole thread on here about being scared to fly. We drive 19 hours to get to WDW.

And we're going to drive the 30 something hours to get to Disneyland when we go one day. Someone that fears flying will drive any amount of time to keep from getting into a plane! :lmao:

I tried looking it up online, but I couldn't find anything. I know some of the other parks have busses, but I don't remember ever seeing it at the MK. :confused3

Anyone else know for sure?

BTW, I don't know if I told you before, your dog is so cute!!!

That explains why I got sooo sick when I rode EE last spring. My DD and I were in the last seat. I felt so faint when I got off and I never had that experience before coming off that ride. Of course my DD was fine.

Sorry they were refurbing Spash Mt. when you were there. We'll be in MK this spring. My family would have been so :scared1: horrified if that ride was closed.

Wow! I'm all caught up!!:thumbsup2 It took me a couple of days but I made it:yay:

Great trip report!!! I'm really enjoying it.

I LOVE Everest!! It's my favorite thrill ride, then Test Track! This past September was my first time on Everest. DD15 had been on it the year before (I was having alot of back pain and couldn't ride:sad1: ) we got the last seat too! I enjoy bugging her on these things.."Are we going to drop now? Where's the Yeti? Is it time to go backwards?" Ah, revenge for all those "Are we there yet" and "Why is the grass green" questions over the years:rotfl:

Still here & enjoying the updates. My 2 DS's are lucky that both my DH & I ride ALL the rides with them. We love RNRC, TOT, SM, & EE, Mission Space. I think we rode EE 8 times while we were there last April.:thumbsup2 I better enjoy them while I can still take it!! Mission Space got to me a little bit last time but everything else was great. Can't wait to be back there in 8 weeks!! I'll be sad to see this TR come to an end. It is like getting together with friends & having a chat.

sorry I missed your update yesterday girl. It was a crazy busy day.

Looks like you had a fun filled day with lots of food and lots of thrill rides. I'm so proud of you for getting on EE again.

When I read the part about how you wait in line and always end up passing at least one kid over and over againt hat touches you in some way I laughed and nodded in agreement. I know exactly what you speak of!

bummer that you and darren had a fight on the trip but at least it didn't last long. I don't remember what buses go where at WDW but he should have just trusted you. Doesn't he know that us women are ALWAYS right!?:rotfl:

I really need to get one of those dole whips. I've never had one. I did have a Strawberry lemonade slushy while at MK a couple weekends ago :cloud9: now THAT i yummy!!

Anyways, great update as usual. I loved all the pictures and all the food porn.

There is a bus from the TCC to Animal Kingdom, but not from the Magic Kingdom itself! ;)

I am new here! I was informed of your TR from JordanYosh's TR. I am only on page 3...

BUT..I am bushed....I'll read it tomorrow! So far so good!

:)

Sorry they were refurbing Spash Mt. when you were there. We'll be in MK this spring. My family would have been so horrified if that ride was closed.

I'm sorry you got sick! That's no fun. If you decide to try it again, get a middle seat, it's not as intense. I'm glad Splash will be running when your family is there! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for telling people about my trip report, by the way. :thumbsup2 That's very sweet of you!!

Thanks for catching up!! I'm still a little skiddish about Everest, but I do love me some Test Track!! That's funny that you bug her during the ride! :lmao:

Waiting 'patiently' for your next installment :surfweb: popcorn:: :dance3: :laundy: :rolleyes1

LOL Thanks...By the way, your DBF likes Mustangs I see. I love them too! I made sure my first car was a Mustang, and I got it at 16 and I still have it today. Darren wants me to sell it when we get the Expedition, but I can't part with it. :sad2: I love my car

Thanks for reading :thumbsup2 That's awesome that you can ride all of the rides with your DD's...I know if our kids want to ride the big thrill rides, they'll have to ride with their daddy! Darren will ride anything.
How cool that you're going in 8 weeks! I hope you have a great time.

LOL of course he knows I'm always right! :lmao: :lmao:

We got two free raspberry lemonades on our honeymoon. They were good, but tart! The strawberry ones will probably be better.

I tried to take as many food porn pics as I could, but sometimes I forgot! But thanks for catching up :thumbsup2
