January 31st, Thursday. Day 7. Part 1.

Well it's the second to last day. We had that heavy "we're leaving soon" feeling. I didn't even want to get out of bed. Darren got up at 9:30 and went to play in the arcade until 10 while I got ready.

We were all ready but Darren's mom, so we stood outside the rooms talking to his dad and waiting to leave. We were going to be driving to MGM (remember the 30 minute wait for a bus??)

Here's some pictures while we waited.

I remember telling y'all to remember the room just below ours, but I don't know if I told y'all why or not...That's the room Darren's uncle was staying in. I thought it was funny that they were so close in that big huge resort. Here they are getting ready to go to Magic Kingdom.

Darren told them he was the paparazzi and he was just trying to get a picture of the princess lol.

We finally left and got to MGM at about 11am.

We got in line for The Voyage of the Little Mermaid since we hadn't got to see it yet. It was about a 20 minute wait.

I just loooove that show. It's one of my favorites.

Lights, Motor, Action would be starting at 1:20, so we headed that way to get in line. On the way, we passed a cinnamon nuts stand and a churro stand....Hmmm, did we get any? You know us!!! Haha.

Then we got in line for the show.

you got part of it up. yay!! You and Darren are so cute. Glad me and Chris aren't the only ones that do the self portraits. And his dad....my dad looks the same way when he's trying to use his cell phone Seems like all dad's make that face.

And awwww Darren's uncle with his little princess. So cute. LIke the comment Darren made about being the paparazzi. Good one!

Those Churro's are SOOO good! I remember when they only sold them in EPCOT. Now they're everywhere.

Looking forward to reading about LMA. Hope you didn't have to walk all the way up to the top of the stadium for a seat. that is one heck of a hike!

Ah The Little Mermaid show is one of my favorite attractions too, Nick hasn't seen it yet but he WILL be watching it on this trip, no excuse . Its just so creative and has all my favorite songs, can't wait to see it again .

Those cinnamon nuts look delicious, I think Nick and I will be having some of those.

I started reading your TR yesterday, and I "lurked" today until I finished. My husband and I are having WDW withdrawls. We usually go every summer, but DH recently transferred to another company. He does not have vacation days until next Feb. He and I did go last July and again in Nov. 2007, so I guess I cannot complain. Our next trip is May 2009, a 7 day land/sea package. I cannot wait!!! We are staying at the Poly. Anyway, great job on the TR. Hope you get started on the pre-trip for Sept. soon.

P.S. GEAUX TIGERS!! We are from LA, too.

Heather, I just finished reading, and it sounds like ya'll had a blast! ya'll, scott, and me and DF are all going at the SAME time in Sept. Such a small world. I totally understand about the whole "in love so young and no one believing it". I met my DF when we were 14 in our freshman year of high school. (took him a year to stop borrowing my color pencils in world geography and actually notice me!). We're going on 5 years. We're both 19 and getting married May '09. Definitely never expected to get married at barely 20! We get to pre-trip together!!!

We've actually seen it a couple of years ago, so there were no surprises....It's definitely not a every trip type of show, but we really hadn't planned anything in MGM, so we decided to see it.

I think my dad looks the same when using a cell phone. Whats with dads not getting those? Mine seems to think its some strange piece of equipment.

I love that you were talking pictures of Darrens family across the way. That is pretty stange how close you guys ended up. (and btw, the walls of my room are almost the same color as the hotel. mine arent so dark though)

You guys look like you had a fun day so far! Fun, yet relaxing. Definitely my kind of day.

Im off to bed...I just drove two hours home from school and im exhausted. See ya tomorrow!

Heather, I just started reading your TR and I'm hooked! You were a lovely bride! My boyfriend and I have also been together since we were 14, so I know what you mean about all the doubters! We can't get married until we're done with school (because of parents and the fact that we have no money ) but in a couple years hopefully we'll be getting married down in Disney! It's so great to see such a happy couple who have been togther for so long and have everything work out for them - I'm truely very happy for you!!!

By the way, I'm completely in love with your shoes from your wedding - do you have a picture of them??
