Happy Easter! Have a great weekend :goodvibes

OMG I've just found your trippie and spent half the evening reading it to catch up. Well I've just finished and I'm loving it :lovestruc .

First off you and your husband look so cute together, I can't believe you have been together since you were 14 that is so cute, and like a fairytale princess: . My boyfriend and I have been together since I was 18 and I thought that was young (well it is over here). Your wedding pictures are gorgeous, you looked absolutely stunning and your honeymoon looked like a dream-come-true, especially the Disney Cruise. I love the pictures of your house, the bed is great and I love all your Disney bits and pieces, especially the computer desk, I might have to look out for those when we are there soon.

Bad luck about the in-laws on your Sept trip, it did seem kind of rude, if that was me I would be getting my DBF to tell them no ;) . But on the plus side at least you get 3 holidays this year, we only get to go to WDW every few years and I really dont know when we will get to go back :sad1: . I definitely think you should still go, just have plenty of time just the two of you. Oh and baby plans... exciting :lovestruc

Your nephew is absolutely gorgeous, I have a lil sister who I spoil rotten so know how hard it is to resist all the cute stuff at Disney - and you have to convert them from a young age too ;) . Your cousins party thing looked great, wishing him all the luck for the future, I'm sure he deserves it.

Oh and as for the trippie, its great, but I cant believe I have to wait for more. This really isn't good :sad2: , I'm not the most patient person :rolleyes1 So hurry up and write some more, can't wait for the next installment :thumbsup2

Being married so young

Oh, right. I didn't know what you were talking about for a minute. Yeah, it's not bad at all.

You are so sweet!! Thank you so much! That sucks that you can only go to Disney once every few years. I should be counting my blessings instead of complaining, I probably look like a big old brat right now. :sad2:

I know I was really young when we met, but I didn't have to be looking for love my whole life, so I got to spend all of that time getting to know my soulmate I guess you could say. Not to get all sappy though! :rotfl2: I'm just happy that I found him, so I've never really been alone, I've had him through some of the hardest times of my life, I don't know how I would have made it without him.

Enough of the serious stuff though, I bet you can't wait until your trip! Is it just you and your DBF going? It's coming up soon! I'm heading to your Pre-TR right away.

I want to thank you for all of the nice things you've said  See you at your TR or my next installment! :wave2:

Woo hoo that was my 800th post!! :woohoo: I remember when I made 500 on my trip report! It's all thanks to y'all!! :thumbsup2

Thank you! Our Easter was good, we had a crawfish boil! :lmao: (Probably sounds gross to you!)
I hope your day was good too :thumbsup2

Eh, not too gross. Im not quite sure what it is, but it involves seafood, which I don't eat. Both sides of my family fish, and love seafood. I grew up on the water, have way too many boats, live 5 minutes from the sound, and fish all the time, yet I wont touch the stuff!! Im the only one on both sides that wont eat it. Go figure!

glad you're day was good! Mine was pretty good too. :)

HI!!! I just found your tr and finished going through it. I love it. I have had so many comments throughout it but didn't want to stop till I got to the end.

I love how you take so many pictures and you throw in pictures of everday things also. I am a picture nut and I LOVE looking at pictures.

A couple of things I noticed we had in common....pictures, we both like to scrapbook but I'm not very good either and wish I had more time for it, you said something about being with Darren since you were really young. My dh and I have been together since I was 15. We were married when I was 16 (we had to bump it up 2 years due to unplanned pregnancy). Everyone said it wouldn't last due to our age and such but we are still proving them wrong. 10 1/2 years married, 3 wonderful boys and still going strong.

Your house is absolutely beautiful! You and Darren are an adorable couple. You are a beautiful girl and those wedding pics are gorgeous.
I will try not to bug you anymore I just wanted to say hi and that I am really enjoying your report. I am here for the long haul.

On my way to check out your cousin's music. Congrats to him!(quite the cutie, by the way, lol)

LOL I LOVE seafood! I think it's a necessity if you live in Louisiana, but I love it. Except oysters and slimy things like that  Eww
My brother LOVES to fish, but he won't eat fish. I guess he just likes the sport of it :confused3 Glad your Easter went well :wave2:

Happy Easter to you. We had a nice one hope you did too.

Thank you so much!!! Congratulations to you and your husband and your boys are ADORABLE in your avatar!! It's so nice to prove people wrong isn't it? :lmao:

I love pictures too, I'm constantly taking pictures with people, of people, with random things, it doesn't matter. It takes one second to take a picture, then you get to have it forever. It's great memories!

I'm supposed to be almost done with the scrapbook I'm making for my nephew's first birthday in July, but I haven't even started it yet! :scared1: I have more than enough pictures of him, I just have to print them out and my printer has been acting funny with pictures, so I don't know. I'll post pictures (of course!! ) when I start it.

You're not bugging me at all, so talk away. Thanks for checking Todd's music out!! :wave2:

I just found your trip report and I love it! I read the whole thing. You are too cute. I love all the pictures and I can't wait to read more.

Oh and also I am a Dasani only girl too....can you imagine if we were forced to drink aquafina for an entire vacation! UGH!

Do you have a Costco near you? It is worth having them print the photos for you - less wear and tear on your printer! You can send them online and have them waiting for you when you get there!

Thanks so much for joining in! Yeah, we would be suffering if Disney used only Pepsi products! :scared1:

Is that your ring in your avatar?? How cute!!

No Costco, but I think Wal-Mart does that. I'll have to check into it. Thanks!

January 30th, Wednesday. Day 6. Part 2.

After bringing back our sea racer, we hopped on the monorail to go to the Magic Kingdom.

We headed to Tomorrowland and picked up a turkey leg from the Lunching Pad.

428-d6.jpg

Since we were right there, we decided to get on the TTA, of course!

430-d6.jpg

We we came into the tunnel for Space Mountain, we noticed it was down yet again.

436-d6.jpg

After getting off of the TTA, we went to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. It was only a ten minute wait.

437-d6.jpg

438-d6.jpg

Darren always cheats somehow on this ride....Or I think my laser doesn't work half the time. :rolleyes1

Anyway, he won, if you can make out the scores.

439-d6.jpg

441-d6.jpg

We ended up riding Stitch's Great Escape after Buzz. I know some of you don't like this ride, but I've never ridden Alien Encounter, so I can't compare. I do hold my breath on the burp though. :scared:

We walked around for a bit, just enjoying being in the Magic Kingdom.

444-d6.jpg

We stopped and got FastPasses for Peter Pan's Flight, since this is my favorite Fantasyland ride, and it's always got a huge line.

446-d6.jpg

Then we headed towards Big Thunder Mountain since we hadn't ridden it yet. We got a churro from the cart along the way. The parade was about to start by this time.

We passed by and saw that Splash Mountain was running the logs on a dry track. It was weird to see.

448-d6.jpg

449-d6.jpg

Thunder Mountain was a 20 minute wait, not too bad, so we got in line. The way this line is, you always pass the same people over and over, and there always seems to be that one little kid that smacks you with something on every pass.

Anyway, we ended up in the second to last seat. I can handle that seat if it's Thunder Mountain, just not Expedition Everest!! Haha.

In the seat behind us, this older guy sat. All during the right he would laugh and "woooo". He had himself a good old time. I thought it was so cute! I just had to smile the whole time listening to him. THAT'S what Disney is all about!

We headed back around and saw that Pirates had no wait. Of course we went in! It's one of our favorites...But of course, someone was using flash photography :sad2: I don't know about y'all but I have really sensitive eyes. I'll get a headache if I'm directly in the sun for too long, and flashing over and over has the same effect. It's not even about ruining the ride so much, as I've been on it a number of times, but I really don't want to spent the rest of my day with a nauseating headache. Have some respect, please!! :headache:

Anyway, after getting off of the ride, we saw a stand with the cinnamon almonds. I don't normally like almonds, but these are SO good! We got a bag to share.

451-d6.jpg

While standing there, we saw that the Magic Carpets of Aladdin had no wait, so we hopped on. I've never been on this.

452-d6.jpg

I think it was cute and it provided a nice breeze.

Then we passed by Aloha Isle and Darren insisted we get a Dole Float. Okay, okay, he pulled my arm! LOL.

453-d6.jpg

We also got a Coke, because we were deprived of a good beverage at our hotel haha.

Continued....

Continued...

We headed back towards Tomorrowland, taking some pictures as we walked.

459-d6.jpg

We saw that Space Mountain was back up and running, and much to my disappointment, Darren wanted to ride. I was a little leary since it has been down ever since we got there, but I rode anyway.

It was funny because I was in the very last seat (why is this a trend with me?!) and Darren was in front of me. Well, I had read in a Disney book that the blue lights you go through before take off does something with your eyes that makes the ride seem darker than it really is. So Darren put his hands over his eyes at this part to see if it were true, and the guy in front of him turned around and said, "Don't cover your eyes, it's not scary!" I had to laugh because he probably thought Darren was a little fraidy cat! I picked on him for awhile after that. :lmao:

After Space Mountain, we hit the TTA once again. Yes, this is probably the ride we rode the most, but there's never a wait. You can't beat it!

We headed back towards Fantasyland since our Peter Pan FastPass time was getting close. We stopped and got some McDonald's fries and another Coke. We sat by the carousel while we ate and just people watched. Have you ever done this at Disney?? You see some strange things. This one girl was walking around barefoot with her shoes in her hand. She wasn't a little girl either, she had to be at least 15. Disney is extremely clean, but I still need my shoes!

We got on Peter Pan and enjoyed the ride. I like how it floats above everything, very unique.

So we decide to leave then to head to Animal Kingdom for Extra Magic Hours. This is where our first fight of the trip came in. Darren said let's take a bus to Animal Kingdom from here...."Ummm, honey we can't. There's no busses from MK to AK."

"Yes there is."

"No. We'll have to take a resort bus, or we can walk to the Contemporary to take the bus from there."

"Whatever then." And he heads towards the Contemporary.

So am I right? I don't recall ever seeing park to park transportation from the MK. I certainly didn't want to walk to all of the bus stops to see, when we could just as easily walk to the Contemporary.

Anyway, we started along the walkway, Darren was all huffed up about it, so we were quiet for some time. All of a sudden a gust of wind blew this little ball of string right in front of my feet. I only saw it out the corner of my eye, so my first thought was, "SPIDER!" So I screamed and jumped into Darren. Of course he saw it was a ball of string and he couldn't help laughing at me. And that's how our fight ended. We usually end up laughing at something stupid the other person does and it always ends our fights.

He STILL picks on me for being scared of a ball of string.

ANYWAY, we got to the Contemporary and went inside to use the restroom. Boy, it is nice in there. I can't wait to stay at this resort one day!

We sat outside at the bus stop, waiting for the Animal Kingdom bus. I notice a woman is pushing a stroller and she opened a Mickey bar. Well somehow the ice cream fell on the ground. She then picked it up and continued eating it. :scared1: :scared: I guess she takes that 5 second rule to heart.

Our bus finally arrives and we get to Animal Kingdom. We got in line to get our EMH bracelets.

460-d6.jpg

Lime green bracelets!! :woohoo:

We went to Dinoland and rode Primeval Whirl. It was a 10 minute wait. Then we headed towards Expedition Everest. It looks AMAZING at night, it's all lit up purple. It's really gorgeous.

Well, we get to it and it's only a 10 minute wait.....Darren, of course, asks if I want to ride.

I said yes! :scared1: I know, I surprised myself too! I figured I had to give it another chance, as long as we weren't anywhere near the back of the train.

Sooooo we get to the girl (the same snooty one from last time!) and she directs us to the last seat. You gotta be kidding me. Darren told her we didn't want the back, so we had to stand to the side for the next train. Fine with me! I WASN'T riding in the back again. I was just hoping that it was better from the middle haha.

We get onboard and take a wild ride through the mountain. It was still fast, but not unbearable. I like how it's cold in the mountain. We got swiped at by the Yeti and flew down that huge drop and then it was done. I conquered Everest yet again folks! I thought it was funny that y'all were asking if I'd ever ride it again, and I did on this trip! So yes, I would ride again

Here's the redneck photo:

463-d6.jpg

There's no more pictures from this night since my camera takes horrible night shots.

We decided to leave after Everest, since it was almost 8pm. We had a long, fun filled day and we were pooped.

We got back to the hotel and got a chicken dinner and pasta from the food court.

468-d6.jpg

469-d6.jpg

We ate while we watched American Idol and The Moment of Truth. Then we went down to the arcade where Darren played games until 11pm and we got kicked out of there. Then we went back to the room and showered and went to bed.

Stay tuned for the second to last day!! So sad that's it's almost over...

I did this big ole update and nobody even knows about it :sad1: LOL.

Come on readers, where did you run off to?? :rolleyes1

Don't worry I'm here, sorry I was just updating mine, glad to see you joined me BTW :thumbsup2 . Great update, looks like another fab day, your making me so excited about going, I'm going to be bouncing off the walls soon.
