</b>
<p><b>After a fairly relaxing day, resting my back and easy walk arounds of the
Swan/Dolphin Resort and MGM, I was ready to start up again according to
plan.  I would head back over to Epcot, for an easy morning of just
browsing around, and then a late lunch, afternoon and evening with a nice DIS
family.  Well, let's hop over to Epcot.....</b></p>

<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3033.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

<p><b>I took a Friendship boat over to Epcot, with the usual stops at Y&BC and
Boardwalk on the way.  Here, the life preserver let me know where I was
headed.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3034.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>At the dock, the Y&BC lighthouse stood majestically in the morning sun,
with a pretty cloud mass as a background.  The sun and clouds at this time
of the morning gave an unusual violet cast to the pictures.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3035.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>The 'wrecked and beached' sailing ship is a sight as we prepare to leave the
Y&BC.  It does look real, doesn't it??</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3036.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>As we left Y&BC for the short hop over to the Boardwalk, I took this
shot, again with a very violet cast, of the far end of the Boardwalk area.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3037.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And a zoom from about the same location, Swan in the distance.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3038.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>A bit of a look to the right gives us the Dolphin.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3042.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And as we dock at the Boardwalk, I have to agree that they do succeed in
their wishes.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3043.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>After docking at Epcot, I made my way up past the UK and Canada and on up
into the Future World area.  The Flower and Garden Festival was in full
bloom and absolutely breathtaking.  Enjoy some of the beauty</b></p>

<p><b>Don't know this guest, just took her to compare size of the floral piece
behind her.  I also was up on some higher area, I am not THAT tall, nor she
THAT short, LOL.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3073.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3074.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3079.jpg" width="519" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>I made my way over to the Living Seas area, as I was to have lunch at the
Coral Reef.  This unique tree formation caught my attention nearby.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3081.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>I had never gone around to the right of this entrance area, over on the
Coral Reef entrance side.  I did not even know it was there, always
thinking the restaurant had some entrance area within the Living Seas attraction
side.  I learn everyday, LOL.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3082.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Once inside the Coral Reef, I had to take a few pictures of the unique
visuals.  The lighting is quite subdued and I only took a few flash shots,
trying not to disturb the other guests.  Natural lighting is always better also,
I think.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3083.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>A view of the huge fish aquarium that rims the restaurant.  Here, in
a blur, a diver moves among the fish.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3086.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>It is very pretty inside.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3089.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>My DIS buddy for lunch and the balance of the day was AZKathy and
her very nice family.  Here, in natural lighting, is Kathy's DH, Doug, DS,
Matt ( a real clown, LOL), DD's, Megan and Mandy, and Kathy on the right.
I think this is mid-meal, before entrees were served.  I had the blackened
catfish over pepper jack cheese grits, and it was one of the best meals I have
ever had at WDW.  And I have had some great dining experiences.  A
very nice restaurant.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3090.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Here is the same picture, with flash.  I like the natural better, but
we can see our friends better here.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3095.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>After lunch, a number of desserts were ordered, this one the Peanut Butter
Playdough one for Mandy and Megan.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3096.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>As I told the kids to smile for a big one, Megan decided to ham it up a
bit.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3097.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And still hamming it up.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3098.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Finally, at Kathy's 'prompting and encouragement', all sat pretty, though
I think I can see Matt pulling 'ever-so-gently' on Megan's arm.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3099.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>While Mandy is more interested in her Peanut Butter Playdough creation
than pictures at the moment.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3100.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Ahhhh, now Megan sits pretty. </b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3101.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And I think Megan was just asked to put her arm around Mandy, LOL.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3102.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Cute, isn't she?!?!?!?!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3103.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Now I think I have them both scared, LOL.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3104.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>A few more pictures after lunch of the huge aquarium.  Stop in and
see it if you never have.  It is great!!!!</b></p>

<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3107.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And outside, Megan, Matt, Mandy, Kathy and Doug.  What a nice
family!!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3108.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>We headed over to Test Track, me in the single line as Kathy's family all
had FP's.  We basically hit the ride area at the same time. A proud Doug, Matt looking cool, Megan resting and Kathy squeezing Mandy's head through the railing, LOL.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3110.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

<p><b>Inside the room before the ride itself, where you get the 'setup'. I took
a picture of this picture on the wall of the entire Test Track attraction.</b></p>

<p><b>You want me to program what??????</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3118.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3119.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

Some beautiful pics, Dan. I thought they really outdid themselves for the Flower & Garden Festival this year.

Thanks for sharing!
Cathy

As always, Dan, your photos are just great!

Wonderful pictures Dan. Those flowers in particular were beautiful. Thank you for sharing these as they really put a smile on my face :)

/
Wow! Dan, you should become a photographer for Disney. Your pictures are way better than the ones in the brochures. Yours look so much more real.
Thanks so much for sharing!

Dan, your pictures make me miss WDW so much! But they are so beautiful, I can't help but look at them. Thanks for posting, as always!!

I love looking at the WORLD through your eyes, Dan! Everything is just so beautiful!!

Gorgeous Pictures as usual Dan! It always amazes me how you can take pictures of new things for as many times as you have been there!

Thank you, my friend!

Great pics....thanks for sharing. I got goose bumps watching the Kiss Goodnight movie :)

Thanks for taking on that great pictorial journey Dan. :)

You got me with the flowers - but OHHH the roses! I would love to be at the World during the Flower and Garden show... now that would be heaven. :)

Beautiful pictures Dan. Your lunch at the Coral Reef sounds like it was wonderful. I really liked this restaurant when we ate there for dinner. It was a bit expensive - but the food was very good - and you can't beat the aquarium entertainment!

The kids are adorable. :)

Thanks for taking me along with you. (Liked your choice of music too... one of my favorites!)

The sky looks as if it is painted in the Swan/Dolphin pictures! Wow, just gorgeous, the flowers, the roses...ahhhhhhhh. Thank you Dan for another enchanting picture post! :D

{note to self: must dine at Coral Reef next time at WDW}

Hello to AzKathy and her sweet family!

Great pictures, Dan!! :) Thanks for sharing!!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the Coral Reef. We ate there a few years ago & loved it. We got to see them feed the fish & sting rays during dinner. It's kinda funny watching the rays eat! Then again, I'm sure the fish thought it was funny watching *us* eat!! :p

Great pics Dan! Thanks! I had missed a few of your last pic posts so I went back and looked at them, they were great! Seeing those pics of MGM sure did make me miss my college program. Thanks again Dan.

Another set of great pics, Dan! Thanks!!

AZKathy, you're got a great looking family! Hi!!
