I got the newest version of google earth a couple days ago and randomly turned on the 3d buildings layer... and to my surprise, all of WDW has been done!
So I turned the sun on, found a good angle and found out what 3am today looked like.

If you look really close, Cinderella and Prince Charming are standing on the stairs.

If you want to play around with it and don't have it, go download google earth here. To see the 3d buildings, turn them on from the Layers panel on the left, and the sun is in the view menu. Learning to navigate can be hard, and it doesn't always do what you think it should if you're using your mouse scroll wheel instead of clicking the controls.

It wasn't on yet when I tried last night. Excellent!

I have been looking through all these magnificent photos and I just want to say you have all inspired me.* I recently purchased a Cannon Powershot ESO IS for our upcoming trip and I only hope that I can capture photos at half the quality of what I see here. I'm definitely an amatuer and need to learn a lot, but I've gotten some great scenic ideas from you guys.* Thank you!!* And keep those great photos coming!;)

It is a sundial. A vertical sundial. But you'll find it in the center of England.

Most people walk by it and never realize what it is.

I have never noticed this before...I will have to point this out to the family the next time we go down.. Thanks for the pic..

I don't know where everyone has been getting the weird aerial photographs of MK, but this is what it really looks like from the sky (just look at the park map if you don't believe me :p)

This is great. But all this talk about sundials makes me see one behind the castle. What is that? Is it really a sundial? I wonder if it is, can it be seen from the ground. Oh, on second thought it must be the carasell sp carosel sp merry go round.

Nice shot Groucho !!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 You're really tempting me with those "great" fisheye shots!! :rolleyes1
Thanks! You can't get much more fun than a fisheye lens, and you have to be not afraid to use it. :) I'm still learning about the ways you can use it; looking back on the photos from my last trip, there's lots of times I could have used it slightly differently for different effects that I missed when I was there.

Here's today's shot... a non-fisheye this time, from my 105mm macro. (Mmm, manual focus!)

Seeing all your pictures makes me realize my color is REALLY off in some of mine!!! But I was still using 35mm camera. I bought a new digital for this trip and have been playing with it to get better pictures. So hopefully when I post this fall, I'll have better color (and TONS of new pics!!)

A post in Morocco in Epcot?

EDIT: Oops! never mind! Just saw the post what it really is. Thats so odd its in England. That texture looks more for like Morocco or Mexico. Could it been a flaw that Disney did and just never bothered fixing it?

It seems I stumped them all. No-one has even tried to identify my photo. Should I give a hint?

WOW, Looking at MK from that view, MK looks sooooooo small!!
