Picture of the Day October 17th, 2012

It really depends on the timing of the bursts. I just turn on the remote shutter release at the beginning of the burst sequence and I turn it off at the end. Most of my fireworks shots turn out to be anywhere from 12 to 30 seconds.:)

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Fascinating!!! So it is the f/14 and ISO100 lets you "run" pretty much as long as you want?

I would imagine Allen has his camera in "bulb" mode which means the shutter stays open as long as he has his finger on the shutter release button. This is an effective way to take pictures of fireworks as it allows you to capture the entire burst.

By the way...nice shot Allen. :thumbsup2

Very nice Carol...I'm a big fan of balloons. And on top of that you have a great blue sky in the background. :worship:

Bopped down to WDW for a lunch invite, a character drawing class, a photo shoot of the "Storyboard Chandelier" capturing *every* drawing, a video from the TTC of Christmas Wishes, and The Christmas Resort Tour. Varying degrees of success on each. :)

Hi my dad Gary can't get on right now because he is in the hospital right now and we are not sure how long he will be there. I know he likes coming here and sharing his pictures with all of you and seeing your pictures and that makes me happy. You are one of a couple websites I am coming to tell to explain his absence. Here is a picture of my dad. Oh and you can see part of me in it too.
