Picture of the Day - Chatter Thread

I have 3 regrets from our trip in November....

- never made it to Raglan Road for bread pudding (tried one night, but there was a private party and no seats to be had)

- only had 4 dole whip floats (hey, we were there for 3 weeks!)

- didn't have any Mickey waffles!! :sad2:

Hmm.... all my regrets are food related. What's that tell ya'? ;)

That we could become very good friends,:thumbsup2

:goodvibes We really do have to manage to be there for a Fiends GG some time. We'll bring the vat of margaritas and a crock pot full of something yummy!

Were there lots of participants?

There were only about 20 carts that participated. I was very surprised considering all the carts at the Fort. I was expecting a much bigger turnout. I don't think many people knew about it because several of our neighbors had no idea until I mentioned it to them. They really should do a better job of letting everyone know about it.

We finally went through out Fort Christmas pictures from our stay over Dec. 10 - 14. This is one of the reasons I love the Fort. What other resort can you just be riding your bike and see this?

DH took this on our last morning.

Ok, I'm glad you posted that latest pic Tony. Someone can answer a question for me. What was that window at the corner of the trading post used for? It looks like it was a take out window for ice cream, or a ticket window at one point. Anyone know?

I don't know what it was. It sure does look like it was something like that though. Someone needs to ask Ken the next time their at T'sE.

Well, they will be on the lookout then.

That is good to know. I will be in the 1500 loop and will wake the whole campground if I find a snake in my tent. :scared1:

Just a little black snake. won't hurt you any. but might make you hurt yourself. LOL But remember, drink plenty of beer and you won't even know they are around.

I couldn't agree more Jim.
