I took Pythonfan888's recommendation and got myself Lightroom 4. Still learning, but the pics from my old point-and-shoot camera look so much better! I can't wait for my DLR trip in October when I'll have my DSLR with me! Now if only if I can get my walkaround lens upgraded by then

Thanks, for the info. All the shots I am posting with the stupid little date are from an PandS, but I just got a DSLR so am gathering info. Got a tripod and remote in anticipation of firework shots.
