Had to take the standard moat/castle shot....this time wide open (no pretty blue skies).

Didn't stick around but kids were lining up to do some sort of hopscotch I think.

I know many people disagree with me, but I actually liked the castle cake for a change. I wouldn't want it to stay like that forever, but it was a neat way to celebrate the resort's birthday. I do feel sorry, though, for Guests who took their once-in-a-lifetime visits that year. But as a temporary celebration, I liked it.

I agree completely. All the whining about a terribly creative and interesting twist to the castle is just hard for me to understand. Permanently, sure, but the expense and imagination that went into that "cake" should have been appreciated and not put down. Why is it that people cannot recognize something fun happening in a theme park.

Wow, if I'm reading the shadows correctly, this would be mid- to late afternoon in the fall -- Where is everybody? Considering the time of day, the park must have seemed empty that day.
