....sadly no....more of a long weekend....Thursday to Monday. We've been there for Christmas 3 times now...

Our sweet youngest DGD is on her last day of quarantine (close person contact at school) and still feeling fine. So happens the LAST day is also the day of the Christmas Dance Recital and she was devastated she'd be unable to perform her very first public singing solo. UNTIL...her Musical Theater teacher called mid-afternoon and asked if she could come perform to an "empty amphitheater" for him to video and show later at the recital! She was SO happy to get that opportunity and made the recording of White Christmas in only "3 takes"!

BUSY day and BUSY evening! Our "baby girl" played her first high school soccer game this evening! It was cold, it was misty, it turned foggy and she had aching legs when done but her first game as a starter was FUN! They played "friends" from a neighboring town and my favorite photo of the evening was afterwards when they gathered on the track with their big sisters (who will be playing college soccer against one another in February )...and the "adopted sister" for the "family photo".
