The girls loved them! And needed the calories; wasn't "Colorado cold" but it was a COLD "Texas cold" with sleet and "feel like temp" in the upper '20's! My feet were so cold at the end of the game I didn't know if I'd be able to walk! Birthday girls loved their cookies too...Makenzie took her's to bed with her so her sister wouldn't "steal" any of it!

I'm more of a chicken than steak person so this is chicken fried chicken...and, what's left of a fried pickle in the background! The cafe is in a building that was once a saloon...and post office. Some of our friends drive over an hour just to have dinner at this quaint little spot. We "multi-tasked"; soccer game and side trip to Winchester to celebrate the 18th birthday of our friends twin daughters (and fellow soccer team members)...
