Wow! I think I need to play soccer!
The girls loved them! And needed the calories; wasn't "Colorado cold"
but it was a COLD "Texas cold" with sleet and "feel like temp" in the upper '20's!

My feet were so cold at the end of the game I didn't know if I'd be able to walk!
Birthday girls loved their cookies too...Makenzie took her's to bed with her so her sister wouldn't "steal" any of it!

-2 at 8:30 this morning on my way to the gym but will warm up to 30 today

Cold weather must help
...5 goals this afternoon!

... the "after "touchdown" dance
. A huge surprise from our "blend in with the crowd" DGD

In Texas you find some of the best food at the little country cafe. After a cold night in the stands for soccer we made the short trip to Winchester, Texas, population 50 and weren't disappointed with our meal!

What am I looking at? Chicken fried steak????????
in the background!
The cafe is in a building that was once a saloon...and post office. Some of our friends drive over an hour just to have dinner at this quaint little spot. We "multi-tasked"; soccer game and side trip to Winchester to celebrate the 18th birthday of our friends twin daughters (and fellow soccer team members)...
