Yes, it is finally happening! Noisy and messy and hopefully with little or no rain until after the new sod is put in!

The girls were rather enthusiastic last Christmas and pulled the hanger part off of our German Pickle Ornament so we visited the Christmas store in Germany for a new one. Much to my delight, they had some new ones to choose from....regular size and MUCH SMALLER one for the "big kids". Going to be a FUN Christmas morning in December as they search for this tiny, tiny pickle on our ornament heavy tree!

Diamond Lil, famous B-52D at the US Air Force Academy; one of the two B-52D’s with a confirmed MiG kill during the Vietnam conflict. The "Diamond Lil" did that during operation Linebacker II, in 1972.
