Wow! Welcome to the 21st Century! :lmao: [we've had them here for YEARS...]

Parts of Colorado Springs have had fiber for years but we're in the northern end of town and have had to rely on regular cable. Back home in Maryland it was about to come to our house just after we moved. Bad timing I guess!

We just got ours last year; takes a long while to get those cables installed especially in a small town. :tink:

Emotions run high on Officer try out day...after all, they ARE teenagers :goodvibes...but I have to admit I was a little emotional yesterday too! ::yes:: Love these photos...the "veteran Dora" welcoming the "rookie" to the Officer Squad. :lovestruc DGD and one of her sweet best friends. :lovestruc

Sunrise. :)

Winter in England makes sunrise a very civilised hour.

Sunrise that morning, for us, was spent waiting for our rental car in London! :headache: We got an EARLY start since our day was packed with planned activities but the rental dealership didn't have our car waiting as promised! Took them over an hour to get the car from their storage parking area. We were NOT "happy tourists" plus, once on the road an hour, we had our first "fun experience" trying to figure out the roundabouts while trying to get to a restroom stop! :rotfl2: That day was SUCH an "adventure" for us (including the 55 minutes that evening it took to go .9 miles during the London evening traffic to return the car )! Ended with our first "silly" pub visit for dinner that evening! :rolleyes1 Let's just say they "kept the Guinness coming" at the Red Lion Pub. :goodvibes:tink:
