....interesting how a certain part of town has had it but not anther section....I wonder why....:scratchin

I did some research and from what I've read until 2021 or so state law prohibited local governments in Colorado from providing or investing in broadband but now cities and towns can do so. Some parts of Colorado Springs used non-government funding sources (private colleges etc.) to get fiber a few years back. And now it's just taking time to bring it out to our county of 2,130 square miles. We're big; closest number I can find is 800 square miles as average US county area.

The Avebury Stones.

After Stonehenge, we headed to see the Avebury Stone Circle. It is the largest known stone circle in Europe and its even older than Stonehenge.

The stones are also brought here from the same area that the Stonehenge stones were obtained from (some 200 miles away). They aren't as finely hewn as Stonehenge.

Along the way, there is a path of stones that 'point' you to the circle itself. It goes all the way up the 'hill'.

Some of the Avebury stones. They stretch over two paddocks.

Second paddock. There are two rings here. The inner ring; and the outer ring with the larger stones.

My wife swears that the Avebury "Fertility Stone" was responsible for the birth of our child! Did you find it at Avebury?

Celebrating the girls that made me a Mother on this Mother's Day. All 4 "raised on all things Disney" and we probably have close to 75 trips between us...the craziest one being a trip to return soccer shoes purchased at Disney Springs and meet the "4 parks in 1 day" challenge all in 2 days! Thousands of memories and more to come! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the Disney Mom's out there! 💕

Mom holding my son, her first grandchild a day after his birth. My sister-in-law had her second grandchild (a girl) 13 days later! Mom was 'over the moon' that year!

....well, as a life-long resident of NJ, I'd say we are a pretty small state in general...and, an even smaller county! [Bergen Cty.]
