Picture Collages from SSR

These are some of the most stunning, vibrant pictures I have ever seen! I love your different perspectives of capturing common as well as unique parts of SSR! Spectacular!! :lovestruc (You should be a professional!)

Absolutely beautiful. Are you a professional photographer? First time (that I have seen) someone posting pictures this way - I love them.

Canon 40D with a couple of differnet lenses.

BTW...thanks to everyone for the nice comments. I just thought this was a nice way to pull together some of the numerous photos that we (DW & I) shot.

If you walk the bike trail on SSR you'll notice the Furlong sign posts. There are 8 of them, so I was thinking of doing eight of these collages. If there's interest I'll post the others as I complete them.

Great job!

FANTASTIC!! Your pictures make me homesick. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome work with us. :thumbsup2

Oh...in the 4th series of pictures, where are the pretty colored tiles?

Those colored tiles are in the water fountain in the Carousel section. My wife took that shot. She really has an eye for that kind of obscure and creative stuff. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone again for the nice comments. It's nice to see all the wonderful comments. This was just an idea I had to take some what ordinary photos from our trip and do something a little special with them. When I posted the first set I didn't really think that they'd be received so warmly. That makes being a part of this group that much more special. Thanks everyone!!!

BTW...I got this collage idea from Scott Kelby, the "Photoshop Guru". He's a real pro. I'm just a enthusiastic hobbyist.

Someone asked if the Canon 40D was good for sports & action photography...the answer is most definately. It can shoot up to 6 frames per second which will give you plenty of shots to choose from when shooting sports. The key to good sports photography is to have a fast camera, and even faster lens and a lot of good light. We orginally bought the 40D to keep up with our 1 year old daughter. Two years later she's a veteran in front of the camera and we're having more fun then ever!!! :)

Ok.....GREAT collage!!! Seriously, they are amazing.....NOW, the one with the nightime disney view, you put the BLUE FLOWER in it!!!! I absolutely love those flowers!! When we first went to SSR in May, last year, I saw that flower, and took pics of them!!!! They were gone last December, and I am so looking forward to seeing them again next week!!

Your pics are great....How do you do the collage? I would love to try this with my pics.....DO you take requests? LOL!

Thanks!

Would I be willing to create one of these for you and others? I reckon I would, I suppose. It would require that you select the images to be placed in the collage. They'd also need to be the full sized image since these prints are capable of being printed up to 16x20. Send me a private message if you want to talk about having one created.

Again, AWESOME!!!

I hate to gush, but you have captured so much of what I love about SSR. The details are amazing and everyone time I walk around the resort I see something new and beautiful.

Dh and I love to walk the grounds and point things out. We are not big photo takers, but your photos are how we see it.:goodvibes

Everything is framed liked a picture at SSR. It really is remarkable how well they executed the beauty of this resort. It is even more remarkable that you have the ability to capture it in your photos. :cloud9:

You cant often explain this to people.

DMAN67 - when you finish the series would you consider posting the complete set on the SSR lovers thread?

Add me to the list of growing fans of your photo series. The last two just about made me cry thinking of how much I miss being there. Can't wait to show my DH who loves SSR even more than me.

Thanks so much for posting your wonderful work. Both the photography and the artistic presentation is so professional and polished.

Thanks so much !

Stunning photos - probably the best I've ever seen of SSR! Thanks so much for posting them & please continue!

Hi gang! Thanks again to everyone for the nice comments. My wife and I are truly touched by the wonderful remarks about our photos. Thanks so much!!! Ok, so here's #5 & #6...

I got a late start tonight so I may look at these tomorrow and think that I should've done this or that instead. None the less, here they are. I hope you like them.

Sure thing! Once I have all eight of them completed I'll post them.

Take care!
Dave

Seriously, those are amazing! You and DW did a great job, and the photos are beautiful. As my son would say, "They rock!!!" :thumbsup2

Thanks for taking the time to post. I haven't stayed there since last April, and I'm now wishing I had booked our July stay there instead of OKW. We're taking a friend of DS's, and I booked OKW because the rooms are bigger. However, we'll be staying at OKW in November, so I may call back and change my reservation. :goodvibes
