Pics of San Pedro, CA

CruisingCA, or PattiPB or Taeja71 - or anyone familiar with San Pedro Pier/area - can you recommend any ground transportation we can call ahead of time to reserve for a pick up at pier to take us to DL - Fairfield Inn.

We are having Supershuttle pick us up at LAX to drop us off at the Best Western. Two vans - I think $62 each (don't quote me - Wendy has all the notes - we are 12 people all together).

We are having a van (two vans - $40 each) pick us up at the BW to take us to pier next morning.

We need a car to pick us up after the cruise to take us to DL Fairfield.

We might also call Fairfield to see if they can recommend someone (unless you can recommend one), to have a van pick us up at Fairfield and drop us off at LAX (5 people - Wendy leaving next day - 7 people).

Thank you. Hope I didn't mess this up.

Sorry, I do not. I'm in Indiana now, but my DH suggested asking a fellow DIS cruiser about the same transportation or better yet, go together.
No problemo throwing your question out to this board. :wave2: HAVE A GREAT TIME-I'm so jealous!

There is a towncar/van service company called Golden West. There have been a couple of DISers who have used them, and I know of one DISer who said they were really good. I called them & asked what their rates would be from the port to the Disneyland Resort Area (and the hotels in that area). They quoted me $65 for 1-4 people and $75 for 5-7 people. They have vans, and will only pick you up - they won't drive around. So, if you are interested, these vans have to be reserved by 12midnight. I have their website & 800 number.

Thanks Mary Jo - I had also posted on the CA thread - you came through :) . Supershuttle wanted $92 - perhaps they are further away - not sure. This sounds good.

Will give them a call.

This thread had a lot of informative info about the San Pedro and surrounding areas. I wanted to revive it as August 20th is getting closer.

This was a fun thread. There's pictures of San Pedro on it and some other good info.
