I had planned to stay the night before the cruise at the Holiday Inn - San Pedro. We won't be arriving until close to midnight and plan to head to the port after check out. So, we don't need any sort of great location. However, we are planning to use the park and cruise option at the Holiday Inn. Is the hotel in a bad area? Will we feel safe for the night and leaving our car there for the week?
Your car should be fine while your away esp. if the hotel offers a "park and cruise option". Just make sure your insurance is up to date...LOL
just kidding! I tell you, just like any big city there are good areas and bad areas. As long as you stay in the good areas you are fine. If your driving around and your gutt tells you to turn around, do so.
Side note: I went to high school in a shady part of Long Beach, CA (Long Beach Polytechnic H.S.). I still can't believe my parents let me go there. I look back at the gang people (Snoop Dog) I knew and all the aspiring sports stars like Willie McGinnist of the NE Patriots and Cameron Diaz these two graduated in my class of '90. Crazy.
