Thankfully the threat of thunderstorms never materialized, so we were able to enjoy the annual SGT under partly sunny skies!
There were fewer gardens to tour this year, and they didn't seem to be quite as spectacular as previous tours, but it was still a pleasant way to spend part of the day.
When we arrived home, there was a message waiting for us, telling us that our SGT ticket stub had been drawn for a prize. They didn't say what the prize was, nor have we had a chance to pick it up, but I suspect it's probably a garden centre gift certificate....which would be fine with me!
Anyway, enough chitchat, let's get going.....
Enter here....a nice garden gate.
Lots of perennial geranium featured, and this was a particularly interesting way to camouflage a tree trunk.
More, very healthy looking geranium.
Cute shed set back in the yard.
A cool seat in the shade.
If you were sitting in the above pic (against the tree trunk), and looked to your left, through the trees you find the water, and a sunny sitting spot.
~ Part 2, coming right up! ~
