lazy river that was HOT lol, but i enjoyed it. also don't let them tell you its fast or anything because its NOT, your legs will be tired because you have to swim. advise, get a vest or float, even if you are a great swimmer. I'm a great swimmer and got tired swimming around it

thanks for the pics. we are planning a trip next summer. did you just take a disposable underwater camera?

No I have an unerwater case for my camera. Its called my aquacase, works great if your interested.

thanks for the pics! im going to be doing this in September! woo!
did you get there early? was there much of a wait for your dolphin swim time? did you feel crowded or anything while you were swimming around other areas of the parks?
its looks like SO MUCH FUN. im super excited!

Thanks so much for sharing. We are going in four weeks-can't wait.

We opted out of the dolphin swim, however. This visit was really for DH for his 50th birthday so I left it up to him. He has always talked about going. He thought we would save a little and go minus the dolphins. It still looks like a fun place. Thanks for the advice about the lazy river as I am not a strong swimmer. ;)

We got there around 840 or 9. No there wasn't a wait. Our swim was 3:15, we went in first, ate breakfast, got our snorkel and wet suit stuff. We went into the grand reef first. Then we went into the lazy river, had lunch, went back to the aivary and then went into the cabana to watch & listen to the trainers then we went into the dolphin pool. Wish it would have lasted longer, but I did enjoy my time.

yeah I advise you to get a wet suit and they also have noodles. It is mostly shallow, but there was also parts i couldn't touch.

here are the couple of pics i took of the river

you have to bring your own. I wasn't going to take any, hate watershoes, but I'm recovering from an broken foot in jan and the sand was hot to.

they provide, sunscreen, even though I seen some people putting on their own when it clearly says don't because of the safety of the animals,

they always provide, mask, snorkel (which you keep) all food, breakfast is served until 11am, then lunch is served from 12 to 3. then you have unlimited snacks through out the day. they had drinks for adults, slushies, soda, chips, some fruit, pretzels.

you also get the choice of either a wet suit or the vest, like i wore.

So you think it is well worth the cost? I am looking into booking this for my family of four and am trying to convince dear hubby! I think we'd love it and it looks like you had a lot of fun.

Thank you so much for sharing the pictures...and great advice on the vests! We are going in December...and can't wait!

If you got there at 8:30 or 9:00am, I have no idea why you would have a dolphin swim that late.

I love dolphins and I always wanted to swim with them so I think it is well worth the money. My favorite part, other than the dolphin swim, was the coral reef, it was so much fun snorkeling around looking at all the fish, stingrays, sharks behind the glass and there's eel behind another glass.

me either, but that really didn't bother me, gave us time to do other stuff before our swim and it was a beautiful day, no rain.

Definitely worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a day you will remember forever!

We have been to DC twice and both times we had the earliest swim. I thought I heard somewhere that your time is determined by when you book your date. We always book months in advance.
