picnic in the park

Hey i got a few questions bout picnic in the park...not sure if they were answered on the show. Do all of the choices for the meals count as quick service meal under the dining plan? How late are we allowed to order the meals and pick them up? I ask that because i was wondering if you would be allowed to pick the food up right before closing and head over to downtown disney or your room to eat.
