You can probably imagine how much I'd want to go to that school and kick them in the shins....with a nice cowboy style boot!!!

You've never heard of yard ape? lol Some might be offended by it, but it's a term of endearment here.
I just spoke to Cass about the incident. She told the teacher and vice principal that she has no appetite at lunch because of her medication. I asked her what they said, and she told me that they just said, okay and she went back to her classroom. Then, I guess they called me. This is not the first time this has happened. I've had so many meetings with the school and the guidance counselor about my daughter and they KNOW about her issues etc. At this point, I can't even be civil about it. On top of that, she is a picky eater. I can't force her to eat raw veggies. She hates them. Fruit is a hit or miss. The school is nut free, so that limits us even more. I'll gladly pack her full lunches and when they come home rotten, I'll send them the bill to reimburse me. Last year, hot lunch for the week (three days) was $15 most weeks. She never ate any of it. Did the teacher inform me? Nope. My sister is a teacher there and she told me about it. She said over half of the kids don't eat their hot lunch. They have 20 minutes to scarf down their lunch and then they are shipped outside to play. Does that make any sense at all? So many parents have complained. I give up. I'm glad that you "get it". Some truly don't and that makes my head spin.
Oops sorry. A preacher's kid.
Military haters!
Yeah....well, she didn't believe Martina when she said Mommy was in Hawaii because Tutu Pa fell off a wall......I wasn't to happy. Now that just gets a big ol WTH?? from me. 2:am? Hello!!?!? Anybody in there?!?! I would have went ape all over her sorry butt. Seriously.
I hated HS too, but LOVED college (could be why it took me so long to graduate)Yep, that would certainly do it. Mark moved around schools, too, being a PK. I hated grade 9 through 12. Absolutely the worst years of my life.![]()
Guess what?! It's raining. Shocking, I know.
Hope you feel better!Good Morning!
Glad you had such a good night's sleep, but hope the payoff is not a terrible migraine. When I have one brewing I hope for clouds so the sun isn't so bright...then every blind does not need to be closed. Hope it doesn't get full blown and you have a comfortable day.
I am sooo sick. Feel pretty awful - up and dressed but dreading having to move an inch. Do not want Mia to take any sick time b/c she needs it all for my Dr and pre-op app'ts. No idea how much sick time Michael has, but she would want to to take hers first anyway, so I've got a conundrum. What to do? Nothing...just get my act together and go downstairs at 9 - praying Sophia had a good night..but what I'm hearing from down the hall doesn't sound good.
Calgon take me away!
Well, I'm glad that you have your day worked out with everyone. Make sure to completely veg out today. Put yer cowboy boots on and kick that man in the shins. Or maybe Mia should. hehe I hope Sophia is in a better mood this morning.
I need to venture out this morning and I really don't want to go. Oh how I wish we had a Target here. Sigh
91 huh?Ahhhhhh. Just perfect. The sky is clouded over now and the wind is picking up. They are saying rain this afternoon and for the weekend. Big surprise there!
Oh boy. I just had to grab some saltines. I almost hurled for some reason. I hightailed it to the bathroom, but it went away. How odd. And no I'm NOT pregnant!!!
Good morning, Pickles. I just wanted to stop in and say goodbye because I don't know how much time I'll have today (been working since 7:15 this a.m.). Hope you all have a nice couple of weeks. I'll drink a toast to all of MY PICKLES while we are at the Dig Site pool.![]()
Have a wonderful time, Kathy. Make sure you have a drink on my birthday.![]()
