Hi guys. We just came back from AK to shower. Holy guacamole it was HOT today! There was a nice breeze so it was a lovely day. Thank you for your well wishes and YES, CSR rocks! OMG, the service is OUTSTANDING. Everything is beautiful and it's so quiet! Where the heck is everyone??! We had a gorgeous flower arrangement delivered today and have champagne toasts waiting at Laguna. A very nice surprise! Kathy - you are a stinker and you know exactly what I am talking about! I love you for being a stinker! This is for you! When I went down to hop in it, someone had taken up residence. Was gonna tip them out, but figured I better behave.

Here are a couple of more pics to peek at. We're going to walk the resort area before the heaven's open up for the daily flower watering. Today was a fabulous day.

Love the pictures of the room and "my" hammock! However, the next time someone is in it and you want it, just push the hammock and let them roll out! That has a "reserved" sign on it for Tracy and Mark ONLY!

NO thanks are necessary. I am just thrilled that you are having a good time. I really wanted this trip to be special being that it is your anniversary and how stressed you were beforehand.

Relax, rest, take in all the scenery, enjoy the rides/attractions and just have lots of FUN!

Now, you've done pictures of yourself, yourself with flowers, with a silly hat on (Marky says thank you--he loves it and will return the favor when we go next month...wow, that's the first time I could say that..."NEXT MONTH")...now there is only two more left. I am on my way out the door so this will be quick. I'm sorry guys, I know you want details details details, but uh, I've got a safari to hit! WEE HOO!!! We wanted to hit rope drop at AK this morning but we slept in. We were so darn tired that we forgot to set the alarm clock. Duh!! I'm so mad at myself! We finally got internet access, cost me 10 bux more than it should but I guess that's my fault. I'll write in detail about our day later, I PROMISE!!! Now for the most wanted details...

We are in Casitas, room 5412. Absolutey GORGEOUS and AMAZING water view. OMG, so romantic. So, I guess we got upgraded because I booked standard view? We LOVE CSR!!!!!!!! OMG...new fav resort!! Kathy, you can come down from the ceiling now. And we haven't even done the walk around. hehehe You will never guess what is outside my door... Pictures to come later...

OMG. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! BUT The jury is still out on the Pepper Market... The waitress tried to tell us we had to pay for our mugs. WHAT!?! It got figured out and I have muh Mickey mug, so I am happy. The food is good. I have a question. Where do we fill the mugs up? Can we self serve ourselves? I need muh cawfee!!!

Ok, I love youse. We really need to go get the bus now. Hubby has a date with Yeti.

I so wish ya'll were here. Thank you SO much for your help, prayers and sticking with me on this crazy pickle ride. You're the best and my heart is so much fuller since I've met you all. Thank you.

Ya know - I just love youse guys and so grateful we happened to respond to a little post saying "I'm in a pickle" (or something like that ).

The most delightful Dis'ers began trying to help....the nuttiest stayed around for the long haul....which brought us to this wonderful time when we get to share Tracy's funfilled, and very happy romantic getaway!

I know we will be here for one another for trips in the next weeks, months or years. I absolutely hope and pray a "Girls Trip" truly happens one day in the not too far distant future. I bet we could all manage a long weekend, sharing rooms and doing mostly CS. What fun we'll have!

I am so glad to have met all you pickles. I am crying happy tears right now as our original Pickle is enjoying her trip and we are all so happy for her. And Kathy, thank you for helping make the magic happen! Christine, you are right, we have many more Pickles to solve, and trips to enjoy reading about! I can't wait till the day that we can all meet in person....hopefully in Disney!

And while Tracy is there celebrating her 10th anniversary with Mark, it is also the CSR's 12th Birthday today.

Tee hee! Adorable? I don't know about that, but thank you. We are having a BLAST! We got up this morning bright and early and went to get coffee (blech!) and walked around the resort. We couldn't find Glen, but found some turtles. We love all the sections. Even Ranchos! Ya. It's gonna be a hot one today. There is a little breeze, so that makes it bearable. We may go rent a car today. We're heading to DTD to get some lego for Cassie and browse the shops. Not sure if we're going to hit a park later on or hang by the pool and read our books.

Hey! Yes, I will get some more pictures of us and with characters. We looked for Glen today. No sign of the stinker. Found his turtle friends though. The Marina is closed for the season. I thought it was open according to the CSR thread... I may be reading it wrong though. Is that posted open hours (how I read it) or closed hours? We are bummed about it being closed so... to make up for it, I think we're going to take the balloon ride in DTD. Weehoo!!

Today is an unplanned day. I've no clue what we're going to do yet. I'm getting hungry though. hrm...

Trac, isn't it wonderful what vacation will do for the soul? Every day I feel I will burst with happiness for you - and I know all of us feel the same.

Are youse taking photos as you walk, or just a nice stroll to see everything? I've always thought Ranchos looks pretty and peaceful, but when our turn to stay comes, no idea what we'll request - although it seems Casitas is the place for a first stay.....soooo pretty. You should see CSR at Christmas -it's more like a deluxe the way they go all out and decorate.

Have fun at DTD...how strange the Marina would be closed for the season already....that would be disappointing. Maybe consider renting a pontoon boat over at the Contemporary - big bucks, but it's so cool!! We would rent a pontoon every summer...you can take snacks or a lunch on board and cruise around Bay lake and Seven Seas Lagoon...sigh..be still my heart.

Keep on enjoyin'!!! We know you will...and stay cool! That is scorchin' hot!

Coffee isn't the greatest at Disney, although the Pepper Market coffee is definitely better than what is in the room. Sorry you didn't see Glen...keep looking. Aren't those turtles adorable--we saw them on our trip too.

I'm not sure why the Marina is closed. Buzz emailed to tell me that and we can only assume that it is because they aren't doing any business. Truthfully, we've never rented a boat there; we prefer to go over to the Polynesian or the Contemporary and rent a searaycer there--much more space to explore and enjoy.

Have a great day all of my Pickles. I'll be on and off--have to clean the first floor of the house (did the second floor yesterday) and finish some laundry. We have to go to Andy's end of season team party tonight to say goodbye to all the boys and wish them well as they go to high school.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you all something. Yesterday, at a local restaurant here in town (Village Tavern) hung my dad's picture on the wall. Dad used to go every Sunday with my brother for lunch/drink. They all loved my dad for his sense of humor, his taking every day as it came; they truly admired the fact that when he was on the "thickening stuff he had to put in his drinks" and even when he ended up with a feeding tube that he was not ashamed and still came in with my brother (my boys would go every once in awhile too) and he would still have his cocktail of choice and put it in his food tube and enjoy. They wanted him on their "wall of fame" so they hung his picture yesterday (it is this picture below).

Thanks, Heather and Kari. It really touched my heart. Hard to believe that in 20 days it will be a year that dad left us.

I'm so excited. I was just able to change Crystal Palace from lunch to breakfast. I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvve the puffed french toast at CP.

We had a fun family night last night. We went to TGI Fridays for dinner, then to see G-Force in the theatre. We don't do stuff like that to often, so it was a fun treat! And TGI Fridays is a family favorite... YUM!
