Right, think I’d rather see it at AKV but this would work.

Not all the resorts have model rooms, especially true of the resorts that are sold out. SSR has a sales center but I don't think they have model rooms of SSR rooms for example. Of course there are videos on youtube of every room type in the program.

It's actually really hard to figure out what exactly you can tour where and when.

I think closing the door of the 2nd bedroom in the 2BR villa will give us the best idea of a 1BR villa.

Some AKV 1 bed have an extra bathroom which makes them more unique. So if I have it right the 2 bed SSR with door closed really wont show how great a 1 bed at AKV can be.

I can never remember which side has the extra bathroom. But if I were staying in a 1 bed at AK I for sure stay on that side. An extra bathroom is a huge plus. So far it's AKV, BLT, VDH, Poly Tower that have the extra bathroom. Fingers crossed the extra bathroom trend continues at LSL.

My trips are mostly solo or with one other person. I'm a 3 hour drive away, so I stay at DVC about every 3 months, 4 times a year. Every stay for the past 9 years has been in a 1-bedroom...and likely will be for the foreseeable future. regardless of points value, they're the perfect fit for me. I like a separate sleeping area from living/dining. I like a full kitchen and use it for breakfasts especially. I like the extra balcony space. I like the bigger bathrooms and tubs. Even when traveling with someone with whom I share a bed, we can still wake at different times or go to bed at different times...and when it's someone I don't share a bed with, having separate rooms for privacy and soundproofing is well worth the points.

I think AKV Kidani does it but not sure about Jambo. I've definitely toured a 1/2BR and a grand villa at Kidani within the past few years.

The 1BR at Kidani has 2 bathrooms, the 2BR has 3. The rooms at Jambo have one less. I'd have to look up the room layouts for the GVs to see their setup.

Are you in a lockoff two-bedroom or a dedicated two-bedroom? The one-bedroom portion will remain the same, but the studio/2nd bedroom will differ based on what's booked.

I have no idea. It’s not DVC. We booked a 2BR villa at SSR with our bounce back offer.

GVs at Kidani are 2 floors and the GVs at Jambo are single story but have a pool table. GVs at Kidani also have a standard and a savanna view whereas it's just one category for Jambo.

They have a lock off 2 bedroom at SSR they will show you if you wish to book a DVC tour. This will show you what a studio, 1, and 2 bedroom lock off is. The 2 bedroom dedicated just has 2 regular queens and no kitchenette. The model is a short walk from the DVC preview center that’s located at SSR.
