Picking up tickets before package but need to book FP

Hi, our package starts on Saturday but we arrive on Thursday evening with room only for those first two nights. Not sure if we will go to parks on Thursday night or not just depends. But we want to go on Friday for sure.
I know I can't pre-book FP for that day (Friday) before the package starts but if we pick up our tickets that Thursday evening from Guest Relations at Pop (where we are staying the whole time) can I then book the FP for Friday once I have the tickets on Thursday evening?
I don't know what kind of availablitly there will be but booking Thursday evening but it would still have to be a little better than waiting until we get into a park on Friday morning to book SDFP. Also the availability may help us decide which park to go to that Friday.

Yes; as soon as your tickets are activated, book for Friday!

YEAH! at least one thing I thought might work out actually will!
Unfortunately the Thursday and Friday I'm referring to are Thanksgiving and the day after so probably not going to be any big stuff available.
I know the park with the most FP availability will be MK but because of crowds I was planning to wait for Sunday to go there. I'm thinking maybe AK on Friday does anyone think there's a chance I could get FP for Everest or Safari with that short of notice?
