Having never rented a car at MCO but have at plenty of other airports some post leave me a little confused. I have always went to the rental counter, was given my keys and pointed in the direction of the parking lot. This does not seem like the case with Alamo. Can someone give me a step by step of what to expect? Thanks!!

Once you deplane you goto the Alamo area (follow the signs, there is also a MCO map online at the airports website). If you are wise and savvy you goto the computerized kiosks and enter your reservation information. After a few minutes your contract is printed. You go outside, cross the roadway into the airport garage. Follow the signs to Alamo and then to your reserved vehicle. Pick your car that you want, keys will be in the ignition. Drive to the exit, present your documents to the guard shack person, then drive forward remembering not to drive backwards otherwise you will incur severe tire damage.

Alamo doesn't assign you a specific car like many other agencies. If you reserve an intemediate their is a row of intermediate cars in the garage and you get to pick the one out of that row that you want. There may be multiple brands and models and you pick from what's there.
