Picking up New Camper on Saturday

Hubby and I have been looking for almost 3 years for a new camper that was in our price range. WE FOUND IT! We went to a camping show a few weeks ago and found just what we were looking for. We are getting a new leftover 2005 Flagstaff 19 foot travel trailer. It has all the bells and whistles that we need and require. We are both so excited. Cannot wait to get it home and load it with our stuff. Hubby has been taking all the stuff out of our old one, did not realize we had accumulated so much. Now the planning begins for all our summer adventures.
And the best part, we are planning a trip to Fort Wilderness in August 2007 with 7 other families. Yeah, did I say that I am excited!

Just dropping in to say CONGRATS!!

I'm a big camper but, not for Disney....someone has to make the beds and on this Disney vacation...it aint gonna be me!

We just got our first camper last year and LOVE it....I'll never sleep on an air matress on the cold ground again!

Oooh, I'm so jealous! We went to the camping show in Boston last week and I wanted to buy so badly. But this camping show was more of a research trip for us. Trying to figure out what we want and what we can afford. Do you have any problems towing from New England? My friends think I'm crazy for wanting a trailer, they are hotel all the way people. I camped a lot as a kid, both trailers and tents, and I just can't wait to do it with my DS's!

congrats, nothing like getting a new camper... I understand about the stuff you collect over the years... we did the samething two years ago... we got a bin and put the stuff in it we no longer wanted we went camping with some young people who virtually had nothing, kept a count of who needed what and gave them some supplies... It was like watching kids at Christmas..

Hemlock Hill RV in Southington! When are you planning Disney again??? That would be funny if we ended up there at the same time. We are going End of April.

P.S.- I also have a friend that works in the service Dept. at rv Legends in Waterbury (Watertown line)! He does all the work on my motorhome at my house!

We did go there, but they did not have what we were looking for. We really did want to do business with them, but it did not work out. We help them out each fall with the Make-A-Wish weekend. They do so much for that organization. Great people.
Friends of ours just bought a new 5th from them. They are picking it up tomorrow. Small world, huh.

WIFEOFJACK, I probably know who you are. I camped at Hemlock Hill since I was 3 up until the early 1990's. Ray is my uncle. My parents used to help with everything up there...the dances, bingo, the store, etc. My father even worked at Hemlock Hill RV till he retired about 4 years ago!! Do you know Chic and AL???
