Picking up EMH wristbands-when?

Greetings! We are leaving in 2 days! Yeah! My parents made a last minute decision to come with us and share the magic of DD's 2nd b-day trip! Can the EMH wristbands be picked up after the park closes-or close to park closing? Parents are probably going to dinner at EPCOT and then joining us later (yes, they have park hopper options so that is not an issue!) but we don't want to have to rush them from their romantic night out!

They are available from about 2 hours BEFORE the EMH begins... all the way through to the end of EMH.

You can also enter the EMH park during the EMH time by showing your resort key-card.

You can pick up your wristbands 2 hours before the start of EMH time. In order to get them, you'll have to present a valid KTTW card. There are particular spots to pick them up at each park. Ask a CM at your EMH park for info about where to find the wristbands.

Do they check the names and ID's of people when they are checking for room keys? We may have an extra person, and one of the people with a room key doesn't ride things. Can we give the key to our friend who's name isn't on the key?

Actually, no....if the person who doesn't ride things intends on staying in the park during EMH they will still need to obtain a wristband in order to stay.

Now from what I've heard, a person can stay in the park during EMH, they just can't ride anything. You're saying that you must have a wristband to remain in the park? Are they going to escort people out of the park who don't have wristbands?

Actually, no....if the person who doesn't ride things intends on staying in the park during EMH they will still need to obtain a wristband in order to stay.

Unless you are creating a disturbance of some kind, you will not be "escorted from the park" if you don't have a wrist-band.

The EMH wristbands are only checked for the purposes of entering/boarding an attraction.

Heck, in the winter months nearly everyone is wearing long sleeves of some kind and nobody can SEE if you have a wrist-band or not... while just walking in the park.

So each guest must usually pull-back his/her sleeve in order to show the wrist-band at the ride enterance.

We were there Feb7-14 and for every EMH at night they would scan our room card at the begining of the line up to get your wristbands.
