We have Friday and Sunday open. 1 day for Epcot and 1 day for DHS, which one on which day? Going last week of January, so low crowds. 2 adults, 3 small kids. Thank you!

Same time we're going so i *should* be able to help you out. There is a special event happening that week which we hadn't planned on when we chose that week and it's put a real crimp in the crowd calendars because it's never happened before so everything is more speculation than normal -- the Pro-football Game will be held on Sunday Jan 29th and there will be a parade in MK on Saturday afternoon. SO, i did my best with putting together our schedule based on previous years and looking at days with similar park hours.

Based on my spreadsheets (yes MANY!) i would say your best bet for the Friday would be the Studios since they have EMH in the morning on Sunday and then EPCOT on the Sunday. THOSE are based on our choice of going to the park withOUT EMH because the crowds tend to be *slightly* smaller, if you enjoy taking advantage of those then switch it the EPCOT on Friday and the Studios on Sunday.

Have a blast, we'll be the slightly frazzled 50-ish couple trying to wrangle the herd of kittens AKA the 4 adult children who have either never been or don't remember going. Let's all hope that the crowds are overly increased by the football activities.

So what dates are we looking at? Friday the 27th and Sunday the 29th? If so, it can depend in which crowd calendar you look at, but the ones I have looked at has them both about even for both of those days. It does give Epcot as being a slightly better day to go to on Friday the 27th.

Nobody knows for sure, but my guess is that the Pro Bowl will have minimal impact. I don't know how many people the stadium holds, but in Hawaii the attendance is always rather low. I'm sure it'll draw a few more people because it's simply easier to get to than Hawaii, but I don't think it'll draw swarms like the Super Bowl does. Nowhere near the fanfare.

So barring any other special events, frankly it really doesn't matter which park you do on which day. Disney is much more about time of year than it is about day of the week. I've never seen a pattern to be able to say Epcot is always busy on day x. Weekends tend to be busier at all parks because of locals coming in, but outside of that, it doesn't matter. It's weird to be in a place where day of the week has very little importance. My normal life at home is so schedule driven by day of the week. When we were just at WDW last month, we were there for 17 days. By day 5 or 6, we started loosing track of what day it was. It's a very strange...but good...feeling.

I'm trying to determine if the published crowd calendars ALREADY are taking Pro Bowl into account or not, does anyone know? I have yet to see an official Pro Bowl schedule of events..

All I've seen is the parade is in MK on the Saturday and the game is on Sunday. Other than that, anybody's guess what will be happening.
