We really liked 1900 Park Fare with the characters. The food was excellent and character interaction was great!

I second the 1900 Park Fare breakfast! it is a must for us on every trip. th food is awsome and we just love the characters.

I voted for Ohana's of the 2 you are interested in. From what I've read and heard, the character interaction is generally better at Ohanas. I've also seen several complaints about the layout of food stations at Donald's.

My feeling overall is that breakfast will be pretty similar at all of the character meals in terms of food available (it's hard to mess up breakfast!). So, if it were me, I'd base the decision first on what characters you want to see. If that doesn't nail it down, then I look at ratings in places like the UG and podcasts and here. Some I believe are well worth doing other than the two you listed are Chef Mickey's and the Crystal Palace in the MK. I think either of those would be better in terms of character interaction than Donalds. We've done both of those before and had a great experience.

This is our favorite and we also like Cape May Cafe at the BC. We book our breakfast for last seating and hit the park when it opens. Then we really are hungry when breakfast comes, the food is still fresh and hot and the character interaction is awesome since there are so few people there. It is more like brunch. My kids need time to get hungry in the AM (why I don't know) but I find they don't really eat if it is too early. They want to do something first and then eat so this is perfect. If we do MK then we just hop on the monorail to GF for 1900 Park Fare. It is perfect and I feel like we are getting our money's worth then.

I have continually seen bad posts about Donald's and it continues to remain our favorite. Love the characters the food is always good, think the restaurant is kind of cool. Our boys who are now adults always picked it in the past, and have it on the list for this year.

Ohana's is great fun - i adore stitch.

But i really did enjoy the cape may character breakfast as it was a buffet (ohana's isn't).
You get to meet Goofy, Minnie Mouse and Chip and Dale wearing their beach outfits!
