Piano player at PO-R

We will be staying at PO-FQ, and my parents are very interested in hearing the piano player at the lounge at PO-R while we are there. Can anyone tell me what nights he plays? My parents will be there Sat-Tues nights, and we are going to MNSSHP on Sunday, so they won't be able to do it that night.

When we were there in June he was there Wednesday through either Saturday or Sunday, I can't remember which. He is a riot, we had never seen him before, but really enjoyed him.

Thanks, looks like they will have to go the 1st night we are there, if they want to see him. Maybe I will make PS at Boatwrights, and then they can go over and see them. Unfortunately, due to my horrible smoke allergies, and the fact that they allow smoking in the lounge, I won't be able to go!

When DD and I visited the lounge last year, I don't remember it being particularly smokey. The area is very open...there were just half walls between the lounge area and the hallway and the lobby area (if memory serves). There were lots of families at the show, and we had a really great time. The point being; don't rule out going along. Since you are staying so close, if the smoke is a problem, you can also just walk on "home".

I agree with TTFN. My DD has asthma & is allergic to smoke. We sat at a table near the hallway and had no problems with the smoke. So you might want to go and see how it is. You should probably plan on arriving early as the place gets crowded quickly. He starts at either 8:00 or 8:30. Have fun

We also found the lounge very pleasant! The bartenders know the piano player's sch. So check there upon check-in. I also remember there being a little board with his sch. written on it atop of the piano or on the wall. Have fun! Its our favorite resort so far!!!

Oh, I will probably be tacking a day onto my upcoming vacation and I was wondering which resort to select. Maybe PO will be the one for me as I have read so many wonderful things about "Bob" here on the Dis. Thanks for reminding me to check out his show during my trip!
