He's really annoyed. He said he doesn't like girls who are obsessed with boy bands or atheletes or movie stars and thinks that I'm a different person. I don't even know why this is such a big deal or how it makes me a different person. I'm just really hurt. We've been together for 4 years and I really can't even fathom why this is upsetting to him. I didn't do anything wrong and I don't want to be treated like I have.

It'd be so different if you were traveling the country and going to every show they had.. but if you found good price tickets and whatnot.. either way, I know it's always hurtful to hear the man you love say "You're different", especially over something as silly as this. I hope you two get this figured out and I hope it's just a little disagreement, nothing more. You are certainly in my thoughts--keep us updated and hang in there!!

Thanks. I just don't understand where he's coming from at all. It's just so ridiculous to me.

That being said, I am very glad I went. I met the Jabbawockeez and had a moment with Jordan.

They were really good! It was the first time in years that they played together so it was pretty crowded. It POURED right before we went to the show and we had lawn seats so...it was very muddy. My flip flops went from blue to brown!!

It's good! I really miss Jackson but it's okay. I am only taking two classes right now but again, I forgot how little amount of sleep you get and how crappy the foodd is!

Not much is new, just working really. The 4th of July was fun. My cousin bought Grucci fireworks...they're the company that does the big Macy's display. They are also illegal in NJ. He went to PA to buy them and we shot them off at a BBQ on the 4th. They were amazing!! Despite the ash floating down after they bursted in the air. Yuck.

Is Tigger ever coming back? Have you talked to her lately?

I haven't spoken to Tigger in AGES. I really don't know what's going on.

Things here are crazy. It's like 100 degrees, rains everyday, I have a lot of classwork but not enough to keep me occupied during the entire day (lots of wedding planning!), I miss Jackson a lot, I cannot STAND my apartment mate and now remember why I disliked college so much which is a sad thing to say, but true. I do have a trip planned to go home next weekend to visit my family (Jackson is visting family on the West Coast.. ) and then the following weekend I have a solo Disney trip planned . I'm going to MK and staying at CBR. I'm very excited but it can't come soon enough.

I am going to see HP at midnight on Tuesday with some girls I met in my apartment complex and am really excited!

I hope we can get this thread up and running again!

For the middle of July, it has NOT been hot here. Which is fine but on days I want to go to the beach, with the breeze, it's cold!

That stinks about your roomie. I switched roommates 3 times during my freshmen year of college. The first girl just didn't talk and was not very social, the second was a complete nut who had problems with every roommate she had and eventually got her own room, and the third I'm still friendly with. We had good times.

Honestly, I was disappointed by Harry. It wasn't a bad movie but it could have (and should have) been a lot better than it was. Especially after making us all wait another 8 months. Maybe my expectations were too high. I think they went overboard with the whole Ron/Lavender thing and I don't like that Harry just stood there when Dumbledore was killed. In the book, it made sense because he was under a spell but he was TRYING to move to stop it from happening. In the movie, he just did nothing. That's very un-Harry Potter like. I dunno. Those are just a few of the gripes I had with it. How about you?

I agree about Harry. I thought the 6th book was really really dark and they made light of it. Then again, I'm definitely a book girl.. the movies are fun but not comparable to the books. Hopefully the 7th will do it justice considering I heard they are splitting it into 2 separate movies for more film time.

School's good-- as good as school can be! I know I made the right decision to go back.

My whole thing is Bill, Fleur, Dobby, and Kreacher are all a part of the 7th book. Not huge parts but they're important to the story. They were left out of the 6th movie so are they going to be cut out of the 7th as well? From what I saw on IMDB, Alan Rickman (Snape) is slated to be in the first film but not the second. I think they are going to end the first movie with Snape's death and the whole second movie will be about the Battle of Hogwarts and Harry and Voldemort.

We sound like complete and total nerds.

I know it's hard to be away from Jackson but you definitely made the right decision going back to school. If you hadn't, you would have regretted it. I know school's a pain but congrats to you for going back! Most people wouldn't have the drive to do it.

My weekend is blah. There is major family drama going on with my cousins right now. It's not like they're cousins I never see. They are very close to my age and we grew up together, spent every summer together, still see each other pretty often. So it has me shaken up a bit. PM me if you want to know the details. I worked today but it was slow and I had too much time to think about it all and had an anxiety attack and left early. I know everybody is concerned but I'm just embarrassed when things like that happen. I feel like my co-workers will look at me as though I'm crazy. It's just been a stressful time.

The highlight of the weekend was me and my sister watching the webcast of the New Kids final show of their tour last night. We were singing and dancing around her living room. I'm going to miss them. I hope it's not another 20 years before they come back again.

Wow, this turned into a novel.
