Pi Beta Alpha -- Hand over the purple and no one will get hurt.

I guess the problem lies in that depending on where you look, you get a different list. Ilike on Facebook has a different list than the u2 Website, then a 3rd website has an even different list. That list has Vancouver on it. :confused3 And Los Angeles. :confused3 So who knows which one is right??????:headache:

Okay, it's 8am here and I think I could eat that entire tray of sweets!!! Do you have your recepie of the sweet potato cheesecake anywhere? I'm a huge sweet potato pie fan-- and a cheesecake fan-- I can only imagine what they would taste like!!!

Oh and you made my favorite thing- pecan tassies!

That settles it: Next time I really am coming over!!

Sounds perfectly wonderful!! Congrats on such a successful tea party!!!

Thanks! I'm really glad it went well too, especially since I tried out a few new recipes. Thank goodness my friends don't mind being guinea pigs. :lmao: Yes, you should definitely come over next time! Hey, I'll come over to Florida to visit you and you can come over here to the State of Confusion to visit me! You can have all the pecan tassies and sweet potato goodies you can eat! :woohoo:

I will post the recipes for all the tea goodies on Thursday........including the sweet potato cheesecake. :thumbsup2

Oh I love these!!! This stuff makes me so happy

Probably my favorite show to watch in the mornings before school (even when I was older )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8KaZeNA7Ys

The Magic school bus!!! I don't remember ever watching the show, but I did LOVE the books!! Those kids were so lucky. They got to go to the center of the earth and into outer space!!

Nice tea party stuff Tig!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! :goodvibes

I liked Arthur, too! I don't think that I watched the TV show for that one either, though. I only read the books. How'd I miss out on the TV shows for these books? :confused3

My day has gone better than yesterday, though this morning was a bit stressful. I had a lot of work to do today but I managed to get it finished by 2 and then took lunch. I fixed the whole Disney situation which took about 2 hours. Hopefully my clients are happy now. I'll find out Saturday when they come in. They were upgraded to Club Level which is a nice perk.

Then I had a CA trip to work on, in the midst of taking phone calls and walk in clients because my co-workers decided to go to lunch and leave me in our department by myself. Nice right? They do this often. I'm happy I'm going to Atlantic City tonight (I'm off tomorrow!) so I can blow off some steam. I need a cocktail.

I'm glad that you had a better day today, Jenny. That's great that you got to fix that situation with your clients!

That stinks that your co-workers to left you all alone in your department. :sad2:  Thank goodness that you're off tomorrow. It sounds like you could really use a break. Have a great time in Atlantic City. Please tell us all about it when you come back!

Oh and there was an ice cream truck here and nobody told me! I saw JB walk by with ice cream and was like 'Where did you get that??' But he told the truck to come back everyday at a designated time. :thumbsup2 Smart cookie.

Ugh, sorry you missed the ice cream truck. I'd be mad, too. That was nice of JB to tell the ice cream people to come back at the same time. I hope that you're able to get some next time.

We're in the process of moving to our new house so I'm not sure how much longer I'll have internet. :confused3

I think I'm getting a cold, but I can't tell. I wish I'd either get it or not get it. One or the other.

Oh no (to both of those things)! I hope that you're not getting a cold!

When's the official moving day?

My day has been pretty good-- nothing too exciting. Went to school, we had standarized testing today so I didn't have to teach  . Then went to Starbucks because I'm addicted to their ice tea and it's only $2.25 for the super big one (and no calories!). After that came home and worked on some wedding stuff, and figuring out if I want to go away for a 2 day mini-vacation with one of my sorority sisters--she wants to go to a Club Med resort.. anyone been??

Have a Happy Tuesday!

I'm glad that you had a good day. That's great that you didn't have to tea today! :woohoo: Starbucks ice tea sounds good. Did you get the passion fruit one or another one? I love getting the passion tea lemonades! :goodvibes

That mini-vacation sounds like fun! I've never been to a Club Med resort, so I can't help you there. Try tripadvisor.com. You can find some great, honest reviews about all the different hotels.

At least they're coming to your area. They're not even coming to the West Coast (no, Las Vegas does NOT count at the West Coast). I'm so bummed. Every time I try to get tickets I can't and the one time I figured, maybe I'd have a chance, they're not even coming here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I used to be a huge U2 fan, but now, I don't know, I'm pretty peeved at them. They're leaving half the country out.

Boo to U2! Why aren't they coming to the West Coast? Well, I hope that their plans change somehow. That'd be great if you could get to see them.

Hey, Minnie! Nice to have you back! :wave2: :goodvibes Where have you been? We've missed you!

Doing fine! I've missed you guys too! I feel like I've been from here to there and all the way to Africa and back in the past month. I've been super duper busy! I'm so ready for a vacation! LOL

I'm glad that you're doing OK. :goodvibes I think that we all are ready for a vacation. We need to go on a virtual trip or something.

How are things with the Twilightaholics?

Thanks! I'm really glad it went well too, especially since I tried out a few new recipes. Arthur is really cute. The stories are good too.

Arthur's still on PBS, so check him out! :thumbsup2

Oh no (to both of those things)! I hope that you're not getting a cold!

I hope it's just dust from the moving. But I'm taking my Zicam, so hopefully that would stop it if I have one.

When's the official moving day?

Today was the big stuff. We'll keep moving the small stuff over for the next few weeks since we're moving just around the block.

I guess there's more than one concert list and if you look at them, depending on wihch one you see, they're either missing the West Coast completely or they're going to Los Angeles and Vancouver. We'll see. :confused3 I'd love to see them. I'm in love with Larry Mullins Jr, the drummer... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

So....how was your day? Do you know how much longer you'll have the internet today?

I'm at the old house waiting for the movers to come back one more time. After that, I'll probably go to the new house and I won't have internet until tomorrow when they come to hook up the phone lines and stuff.

My day is OK. I'm exhusted. I haven't been sleeping well at all. Compounded by thinking I'm getting a cold and it's not good...

How was your day???????

I'm glad that you won't have to wait too long to get the internet back. That's awesome that you're already moving into the new house! :woohoo:

Sorry to hear that you haven't been sleeping well. :sad2: I hope that you're able to sleep better tonight. I really hope that you don't get a cold. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I had a good day today. Fortunately, it didn't get too busy at work. I was really tired after yesterday, so I was so grateful to have a relatively easy day. :)

I'm going to work on some sorority signature pictures later tonight. Oh, and I'll PM you all some St. Patrick's day pics for your sigs. We've only got a few days left, but hey, better late than never right? I almost forgot all about St. Patrick's day until the other day! Yeah, I've been kinda busy. I'll PM you guys some pictures later today.

Hey, I also want to finish that quiz today. I just want to add a couple more questions. I'll try to send you the link. Hopefully I can still edit it once I publish the quiz. I'll let you know.

Hey, by the way, I like that Tiger Woods picture in your signature!! I just noticed it. He looks REALLY cute in that picture. :lovestruc

I'm glad you like the new house! :goodvibes

And yes, Tiger Woods is a great person. His story is really inspiring. I just wish that he had named is daughter Samantha instead of just plain Sam.

Well, I really like the movie room.... :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: If you're missing me, check there.

Yeah, Samantha would have been way better. Sam sounds like a little boy. :confused3

OK, I'll be back. Dinnertime! Woohoo! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Sorry for taking so long. I was responding to your PM. I had a lot to say about that one. Thanks for sending it to me. :thumbsup2

I got their unsweetened black iced tea.. It's Tazo. Fantastic! :cheer2:

Good idea!!

Club Med is all inclusive but I feel like it's super expensive because there's all you can drink (alcohol and nonalcoholic) but I feel like we wouldn't get our moneys worth.. Will have to investigate a la Nancy Drew..

Yeah, Samantha would have been way better. Sam sounds like a little boy. :confused3
Samantha is such a pretty name! I love girly names. :cutie:

I hope everyone has had a nice day-- I am pooped! Thankfully, I am sleeping in till 7:30 am tomorrow!! Typically I am up at 5:45am but tomorrow I don't have to be at work till 8:45!

You should definitely look more into it. If it's not really worth the money, I wouldn't go there. There are many other places that you can go for a great mini-vacation. :thumbsup2

Hey, speaking of Nancy Drew, I thought of something earlier. Since we have a sorority house staff and a big mansion and everything, I thought that it would be fun to have a virtual murder mystery party someday. After all, we've got a butler.........and we all know that it's always the butler that did it!! :rotfl: I have no idea how we could possibly do that, though. What do you think?

Tigger, that is possibly the greatest idea I've ever heard! I love murder mystery parties! I even did one of those murder mystery train dinner show things (yeah, I told you I liked Nancy Drew  ). It was DFiance's birthday present to me. It was so much fun!!

We might not be actually able to do it but we could have like a Clue Themed party? Some UC sister knows who's actually done it (puts the cards in the little envelope secretly, etc), we post pics of classy looking characters and a creepy old mansion.. :rotfl:

Okay.. I did something major today....

I BOUGHT MY DRESS!!!

I went by myself to the dress shop (everyone was furious) and fell in love with dress number two. Seriously, I tried it on. It was magic. I bought it immediately. Didn't call a single soul. I think that means it's the one... :rolleyes1 :cool2: :lovestruc :rotfl:
