Ah, that stinks! I really hope I don't get a cold when I go. I almost always get a case of acute bronchitis around the beginning of October and I'm going end of Sept so...we'll see I guess!

Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon. YUM! DH and I shared the Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes. Very good. We also got the Canadian Chedder Cheese Soup. Soooo good. They even gave us the recipe for it! For desert I got the Chocolate on Chocolate Whisky Cake.

Leaning more toward lunch instead of dinner.

Ahh.. I love the Cracker Barrel.

Me, too! I love getting their chicken fried chicken (yes, that's right) and their chicken and dumplings.

I just found out my sister won floor seats to U2. Unfortunately, I won't be here for it. It figures. I've waited 4 years for them to tour again and I'm not only going to miss them, I'm going to miss out on floor seats! I can't whine about it though because it's not like I'll be working or doing something not fun...I'll be on a cruise ship!

Wow...it has been quiet. Yesteday was a busy day at work for me. I can't believe they expected me to work! Don't they know I have to be on disboards?!?!?

Sorry for not being around much. I've been really busy these last couple of days. This thread has been pretty dead, so I guess everyone else has been busy too.


Please continue to keep Honu in your thoughts and prayers. I contacted her the other day and she mentioned that she is still not really feeling well. Honu, I hope that you feel better soon!


I had to run several errands after work today. It would have all been pretty humdrum if I hadn't seen a really cute guy who worked in one of the stores that I went in. I had seen him before and we had even chatted for a little while. He's one of those rocker-types, complete with tatoos all over his arms. He is really nice and always very helpful. He recognized me when I came into the store and came over to say hi. He really is cute. Just had to share!

Since I haven't been on the DIS much in the past couple of days, I almost forgot to share a couple more hot guy sighting stories. Well, I didn't see them in person....they were on TV. In honor of her birthday, TCM showed several Jane Powell (from Seven Brides for Seven Brothers) movies. I really like Jane Powell, but I was a bit distracted by the guys who played her love interests. Here's the hottie lineup:

Hey, how did it go on the Twilight DVD-release day? I can just imagine how crazy it got.

Okay, for some reason I thought I had answered this, and hadn't! Duh on my part! LOL

Haven't been working as hard this week. After my training period of working every day the one week, I had just a few days this week, and only one next week unless they need my help so that's great! I am saving up money for vacation!

I ended up not going to any of the late parties, and went to Target the next morning when they opened to get the movie. I got there at about 7:40ish (they opened at 8) and there were three other cars in the lot. One girl was sitting outside the doors, but everyone else stayed in their cars. I went up to the door at about 5 til just in case a million and one people swarmed in. They opened the doors, let us all in, and I walked to the rack they had on an endcap of a register to get my movie and that was that! No wait, no shoving or pushing, nothing! There were probably 15 people there waiting when I went in, but that was it. They had tons of copies of the movie, so there was no worry about getting one. I was in and out of there by 8:10. (I had to get some candy before I left!! LOL) So not bad at all! I plan on doing the same thing for the next movie and hope it's not busy again!

Our party went great too! We had a blast. Had tons of good food, sangria, and had fun just hanging out with the gals.

My seats are pretty good. I couldn't spring for the $250 seats, so I got the next level down. So I'm in the 200 level. I guess I can't complain too much. It's not floor seats, but it's not nosebleeds either. So I'm pretty happy right now.

My sister is going to the first show 9/24 at Giants Stadium. She got seats in the Red Zone right next to the stage. She actually won them in an auction at a decent price. Lucky! She can't even call me that day cause I'll be out at sea and have no service! I told her to call me anyway and hold the phone up when they're on so I can hear it on my voicemail. I'm so bummed I won't be there. We're like partners in crime for concerts.
