Photoshop help

I am new to the world of Photoshop and after reading a thread on this board have managed to use the selective colouring feature!

For my next project I would like to take people from 2 different pics and merge them on the same pic - can anyone point me in the right direction for a tutorial on this

Hi Jill,
Very quick version would be:
open both files
select the file with the person you wan to add to the other photo
select the person with your favorite selection method
edit>copy selection
now go back to the main photo and create a new layer
I belive it has to be a blank layer
then paste the person you previously selected to this new layer
You can move the person around in the pic to get into the right spot. Also change the size to match the perspective.

I have just been reading the book that came with CS2. It seems more helpfull than previous manuals.

Pasting the selection onto the main picture will create a layer, So will simply dragging that selection onto the top of that main picture.
