Photos of the Ollivanders Exclusive Wands

Hubby reminded me that we have photos of all the exclusive wands in the Ollivanders display cases. Sure enough I found 'em, so I posted 'em in the article about his wand selection experience. Click here and scroll to the bottom of the article. I'm pretty sure we got them all. I know people are saying they are wood but I'm just about positive they are all resin. I base this on accidentally dropping/breaking his when we got him (thank goodness it broke in an easily repairable area) and the level of detail which could only be done in molded resin for something in the $30 price range.

After reading it I have one question. In there it mentioned if you get chosen to participate. So not everyone will be able to do this? Is it only one or a couple of people per show? Thanks...

Yep, one person. Usually a child and usually from towards the front so position your family accordingly.

Thanks for the pictures! I'm kind of bummed that the wands with the black shafts have little white tips on them...Makes them look weird...Did you notice if there are more wands available that you didn't get a photo of?

Not sure about the wand experience (depending on the line size), but I can't wait to get one of these wands. My only trouble will be if I like more than one...

so there are wands you can ONLY get if you are chosen in olivanders?

they cannot be purchased in the owl post?
are these the ones based on celtic birthdays? or are there others?

You can buy one of those even if you're not in the show, but those are the ones used in the show.

Yep, good old superglue. You can't even really tell where it cracked.

Also, they have a new kiosk that also sells these wands over near Hogwarts now.

My son got picked we were right in front and he is 8 years old ! It was great fun and I have to say we were told only 30 people were let in at once so it is a one in thirty chance to get choosen !
