I just got back from the surgeon's office where my temporary splint was removed and a more permanent cast was put on my broken leg and ankle. I asked the doctor if it was OK to photograph my ankle before he put on the cast. He gave me the go ahead, so I thought I would share the photos. The first two images are of me in my new green cast and of the xray that shows the hardware that has been holding my right ankle and leg together for the past 10 days. You may not want to look at the last two pictures as they are not at all pretty. In fact, the same could be said of the one of me on the couch, but I'll leave that up to you to decide.
