Actually, the incision part looks good. I had 22 staples 2 weeks ago, but they are now removed. I did not share that on the board. Anyway, hope you heal quickly.

That brings back bad memories. My x-ray looked much the same when I demolished my ankle and leg, so you have my heartfelt sympathy. Take care and I hope you have a speedy recovery.

after watching Trama in the ER every Monday night, this is nothing. Well in the gross dept anyway. Poor you, it must be so painful. Those pins and things they put in are amazing. Geez, in the old days they would've taken the whole thing off.

You look pretty good considering and really your leg looks pretty good too. Glad you let us know how you were doing, we're all thinking of you.

Brings back some bad memories. Left ankle and leg for me. Nice cast. Take it easy, watch a lot of movies ans set up a trash can by your computer area so you can elevate the leg and continue DISing.

I have screws and a plate in my left ankle. It's still achy every once in a while, even after 6 years. I have only set off the metal detector once and that was on my last trip (out of TPA). Actually, the walk-through was fine, but we were flagged for extra attention because we were flying standby since we missed our original flight. My leg went "off" when I was wanded. So did a paperclip in my pocket .

Oh John! You poor dear. That must have and probably still is so painful. I am so sorry that you must go through this. (Your family too--it is difficult when one is down.)

DH and I wish you a speedy and easy recovery. Don't push too quickly for you don't want to cause injury just when it begins to mend nicely. Take it easy...DIS!
