...boy!
Declan James was born Thursday November 3rd weighing in at 6lbs 15 1/2ozs.
We came home today (as I had a c-section) and are both fine
Will post a photo but that's not a job to tackle tonight!
How those ended up different sizes is beyond me! Anyway here is our little man. Molly never seemed a true 'newborn' but as he was born at 38 weeks Declan does!
Molly is fine thanks for asking and has come to terms with the fact that he is not a girl! We had told her that he might not be but she'd made up her mind!!! I think that the Minnie Mouse nurses outfit that he brought out of my tummy with him was a great help - though she did want to stick a plaster on his head as she saw him prebath and he was a bit messy. She has been cashing in with 'Big Sister' gifts from everybody and as it's her birthday on Saturday she is not missing out!
I'm recovering nicey as well thanks. Molly was an emergency section at the last moment so at least I knew what I was in for this time! It was all very sureal as the major decision in theatre was what CD we'd have on! We ended up with Robbie's 'Swing while you're winning' so I was opened to yep 'Mac the Knife' and he was born to 'What a Swell Party this is!'
Thanks for all your good wishes - I'm off to have a cup of tea as he has fallen asleep on my knee (just have to try and put him down first!!!)
