We're going in August, right before our old platinum APs expire. However, our youngest DD will be 3 and will now need a ticket. I have bought her a 5-day ticket, but am wondering if maybe I should get her a Gold AP instead (we plan on another trip inside the year). Partially I hadn't done that before just to get her on the same AP cycle as the rest of the family.

If the 3yo is the only member with AP that includes photos, will I be able to download the pictures if her photos are linked to my account? Or do I need to create a MDE account for her and use those to download the pictures?

Thanks,
Bruce

For one trip, only my 19 year old son had a gold AP and everyone linked in the same MDE account could use the photopass. I think your idea would work, as long as your child is linked to your MDE account.

I don't think you can create an account for her. I think the minimum age is 14 or something.

Thanks cvjw. Sounds like it would work if we go that route then.

Good point Meghan. My kids all have email addresses b/c I've needed it a few times, but I think you're right that Disney sets an age limit for MDE. And they have her age in about a million TS reservations, so I'm not going to try lying about it ;)

You'll be fine...on our last trip in January our DD4 was the only one with a gold AP and the photos came through fine. You have to add the toddler on your MDE to link the AP.
