I had asked opinions on some photos I took the other week? well I had my first unofficial official job this weekend at a wedding. Here is an album with a handful of photos, I took over 700 shots. So hopefully some are good enough.

I'm not a photographer, and this is totally not snarky I promise but these are not even close to being proffessionally taken. I think as a 'mom with a camera' view these aren't bad but there is a LOT to learn when it comes to photography

like I said. I am not a pro, nor do I pretend to be. But helping people out. I appreciate any and all input. How do we learn? We try, we ask and we correct. Thank you a bunch for that web link. I really like it. I have until September until I have another wedding to do so by then I hope to learn alot more.

Lori I really didn't mean anything I swear. I hope you do learn! Photography is so much fun and expressive and art! The best advice i can give you is to pour over photography web sites, find what you love and practice practice practice! What kind of camera do you have? What kind of software?

it is an olympus evolt e-500 My DH bought it for me. and thinks I am the jane of all trades I am not. But I do like to take pictures so I am very interested in getting better. I do not plan on turning pro, Just want to take nice pictures of my loved ones.

The pics are lovely. However, I don't mean to be a spoil sport, but have these people given you permission to link these photos to public internet forum like the DIS? Seriously, I'm not trying to cause trouble. I would just hate for them to find out about it and for you to get in some sort of trouble.

never thought of that. They are all friends of DHs so I don't think they would complain, but now that I have had the input I need, I will go ahead and remove the link. Thanks for the heads up.
