DAY 4: This was Sun., Dec. 2, when the wind ensemble performed at Downtown Disney. Photos of the band are on page 1 of this thread; here are some others.

I just love the statues outside the Lego store and the detail that goes into them!

After the wind ensemble performance, we headed over to MGM. Some photos of the parade; this is the princess from the new movie, "Enchanted."

More from Day 4 @ MGM:

I finally got a decent shot during Fantasmic!! (I took a whole bunch, but these 2 turned out the best).

Then it was off to the Osborne Lights for a real quick meeting with Kyle and his family before they dashed off for the late Fantasmic show.

DAY 5: This was the day we left for home, totally exhausted. Since this was the first time we stayed at Pop Century, we spent the morning walking around and checking it out. Wilderness Lodge continues to be my absolute favorite resort, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Pop Century again.

And then we left Florida sunshine and 83º to return to Pittsburgh with snow and ice.

loved the photos, really kind of ticked we didn't get to go even for a day when we were in fl after i see all the photos especially after getting the postcard today for 5 day passes for the price of 3( dl) even if it was addressed to a stranger at my address ( gasp disney made a mistake?).

can't believe you live in monroeville...i lived on Lauren Jay drive as a kid( so in other words the houses would be in the "historical" category now ) and tried to find it once when we went back but it is way to different...

Isn't he something? I can't believe all the little details that go into everything at Disney, the Lego store included! And with Kayla in your signature, it's obvious that you like German Shepherds. Yes, they are, and yes, you did, LOL. I'm sorry it was a tearjerker. I love German Shepherds, have had 6 of them including the youngster in my signature (Liesl) who we got right as I was finishing chemo. She helped me through recovery and has been my best buddy ever since.

I am guessing here that the singer is either Monique Coleman (from High School Musical) or Miley Cyrus (from Disney Channel). Those are the only two that fit the bill that came up when I googled the parade performers.

I think it was Katherine McPhee from American Idol. When we were at disney during the taping my friend who lives in FL was at the AK Lodge and she walked right passed them. She tried calling me but my cell was off Friday night.
