I have done the photopass at WDW in the past, and was wondering if someone could tell me if they think it is worth it at DL. We have always been a part of a "share" but I dont think those are allowed now. We also always go for atleast a week to ten days and this time will be there 4 1/2 days.

The last time I priced them for WDW it was 99. Am I reading it right that it is 169 now? OMG!! If anyone knows if there are any specials that they send in email or I can get it there cheaper, please let me know.

It's worth it to me. I get more PP taken at DLR than at WDW but then I have certain photogs I seek out.

It's $59.95 at DLR. I haven't checked lately but they have sold a Gallery CD in the Photopass store for $59.95 that inc. a coupon for a free DLR PP CD. So basically you get the Gallery CD for free (or less if you have an AP)

While shares are no longer allowed on the disboards you can find ones on Facebook-both for WDW and DLR.

Have fun!

Ok maybe I am looking at the wrong thing........I only see a photopass cd for 169. I do not see anything for 59.99....do I need to do this when I get there to get that rate or how do I do it?

I purchased the Value Pack in April for $59.95 in the photo store. Most definitely worth it.

The order automatically defaults to WDW pricing. Once you have DLR photos in there and you add the Photopass CD to your cart the price will adjust to the lower price.

WDW is $169. If you are looking at your PP account online and your last entry was a WDW car that's why it's showing the WDW pricing. Once you enter a DLR one the price will change to $59.95. There is no pre-buy option for DLR like there is for WDW. You don't need to do anything before going to get the DLR price.

Now that being said, Disney can change the pricing at anytime and with Carsland opening this month, and DLR raising their ticket and AP 25-30% a few weeks back, the DLR PP CD may go up as well.

Definitely check at the Photopass store on Main St. to see if they are still selling the Gallery CD. It inc. some very nice professional photos taken around the DLR. Even if you don't have an AP you will still save a little as the Gallery CD coupon inc. shipping. Inside the CD case is a coupon code that you enter when you buy your PP CD online and the price will change to $0.

Don't buy the PP CD of your photos in the park as it won't inc. any of the enhancements you can add.

I've bought 3 of the Gallery CD's in the past and done PP at DLR and WDW many times-so if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. :goodvibes

Also Disney Photopass is on Facebook-sometimes they'll post specials there.

if I can piggyback (sorry):
So no more sharing? Even if two different families that are friends are at the park together couldn't share a PP?
thanks....

I think they mean no sharing... ie. we can't do it on these boards.

You can share, but since it involves an exchange of money, you can't organize a share using the disboards.

oh ok. I got worried that they figured out how to keep people from sharing at the parks. Thanks guys!

So we can't discuss sharing at all on here? Does anyone know how to get in touch with people who might want to? I looked on Facebook but didn't find anything.
