photopass with resort package???

Disney is offering the photopass free with their packages right now... isn't the photopass free for everyone or is this something that I've confused with something else?

I am also confused with this. I thought it was free for everyone. At least free to get your Photopass card, not free for the pictures. I assume you get can get a card from one of the photographers who takes your first picture. AllEarsNet.com has a section about it, including prices and how it works. Not sure of the exact link - sorry!

With the MYW package, you receive a certificate for a free 5x7 photo ON your photopass. This also includes free shipping.

So, when you get back home, you can log onto PhotoPass, pick your favorite, then get it free.
