It's been a few years since I have been to Disney and I cant figure out what the difference is between PhotoPass and Memory Maker. Can anyone enlighten me?
PhotoPass is actually the picture-taking service; I assume you're thinking about one of the CDs that you could pre-order. The PhotoPass Archive CD includes all pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers at meet and greets as well as other locations around the parks and costs $119 if you pre-order (https://mydisneyphotopass.disney.go.com/wdwsave). The PhotoPass+ CD, which included all the PhotoPass photos as well as ride and dining photos, is no longer available and has been replaced by Memory Maker. Memory Maker is essentially the same thing as the PhotoPass+ CD except it's strictly a download product - you can no longer get your pictures on a CD. Here's the link to pre-order Memory Maker:
It's not the same price. The pre-order for the archive CD is $119, the pre-order for MM is $149. But since $30 is the price of 2 ride photos or 1 dining photo package, it's still a good deal.
